Blood borne pathogens Blood borne pathogens are transmittable microorganisms

in blood that can cause disease in human body. These pathogens include hepatitis B (HBV), hepatitis C

(HCV) and human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). Blood borne pathogens enter the body through blood
