APRIL 2016 ELECTION OF OFFICERS

FOR THE 2016-2017 YEAR

If you are serious about being an Officer of Post

789 please asked the bartender for the nomination board that is on the

bar and put your name on it and be at the April 8th meeting for elections. Installation of

Officers will be on the 14th of May here at the Legion cocktails 5-6 and dinner at 6 PM

with Installation and awards to follow and the cut off for sign up is 1 May and the menu is

Pot Roast or Chicken Cordon Blue, mashed potatoes and veggie, salad, rolls and brownie

with ice cream for dessert the cost is $10.00 a person and you get 3 drink tickets and it is

limited to 120 people so get your tickets early and the awards will be handed out after the

election of Officers. If you are not going to come to the Installation dinner and you still

want your continuous service award let me know and I will leave it at the bar or mail it to

April 5th pulled pork, macaroni salad,

beans and a roll dinner 5pm until gone cost is

$10.00.

April 9th Chicken BBQ, macaroni salad,

beans and a roll 11 til gone cost $9.00 dinner and

$6.00 half or hamburger or hoffman hot dogs

macaroni salad, beans and a roll for $8.00 and we

will be doing the hamburgers and hot dog meals

again on the 10th.

If you are interested in running for an

office be at the April 13th meeting at 6 PM.

The Damian Grimm Scholarship applica-

tions are still available and must be turned in by 1

May 2016 High school seniors and college stu-

dents in good academic standing are eligible. Stop

into the post and pick up an application if you are
