Greetings in the name of Jesus! It is now the season of Thanksgiving! Let us all be Thankful for what God has done for us.
For those of you that didn’t know I had to have a stent put in my heart on August 10th, but I am doing great now. Thank GOD!
I have a brand new Granddaughter that had to make her appearance @ 27 weeks. She is in the NICU @ UT until she grows some more. Her name is Linleigh Violet and she joins big sisters Hollis Anna 2yrs old and Ruby Elizabeth that is 4 yr old. WOW, 3 precious little girls. Thank GOD!
Don’t forget to promote the Week of Prayer and Offering for Lottie Moon in the month of December.
Put the Gatlinburg Women's Get Together on the calendar for the first weekend of April. April 5th and 6th., it is in April instead of March next year, 2019.
Also remember April will be the month we will collect cereal for the TN Baptist Children's Home. I will remind you in the January and February newsletter also.
Until next time May God bless you all!
Kathy Neely, WMU Director
WMU Emphasis: By All Means. Scripture Passage: 1 Cor. 9:19-23.
Watchword: I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some, I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings. 1 Cor. 9:11b-23 NIV.

Lottie Moon Christmas Offering 2018
Every Church. Every Nation
It’s more than a catch phrase. It’s at the core of what we do. We
believe every church—and every church member—has a critical
role to play in bringing the gospel to the world. Your church’s
participation in the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering is a key part
of that.
Because you and your church give to the Lottie Moon Christmas
Offering, IMB missionaries can take the gospel to unreached
peoples around the world. Every dollar you give makes a differ-
ence, because 100% of the money collected goes to the work of
reaching every nation.
The Story of Lottie Moon
n the 1800s, a missionary named Lottie Moon wrote letters from
China urging American churches to fund more overseas workers.
After Lottie’s death on the mission field, an offering was started
in her name. The offering was established to empower interna-
tional missions efforts for Southern Baptists.

Our blanket drive is underway and we encourage each church to help us provide warmth for those
who may have a hard time sleeping in the cold. Many of our clients turn the heat down at night to
avoid high heating bills. Each new blanket will provide needed warmth through cold winter nights. All
sizes are appreciated but queen size is the most requested.
Our Christmas Celebration will be on Dec 8th. This year we will continue to provide families with
food boxes large enough for a good meal for the whole family. We will also continue to distribute
snack bags for kids who will be at home during the winter break and may not have access to nourish-
ing food items. If you need a letter with the listing of items needed, please call us at 981-2992 and we
will get you one. Thank you so much for the donations and prayers that support this important asso-
ciational ministry.

The offseason at Camp Tipton is an exciting time! When the summer
dies down and the grass stops growing, Camp Tipton gets to prepare for
the next camp season. Preparations are currently underway to make this
next summer the best that has ever been. If you would like to reserve a
spot in our facilities in the future, now is a great time to do so!
I am excited to tell you about a few developments that are on the horizon. The first is our online camp
store. This past summer we started selling t-shirts, hoodies, hats, and water bottles in our camp store.
However, in order to purchase these items you would have to come in person to camp. Soon you will
have the ability to purchase camp store items online and have them delivered to your home! The pro-
ceeds from these purchases go to offset the cost of our campers who come on scholarship throughout
the summer. So not only are you getting some great gear, you will be supporting the ministry of the gos-
pel to the children of Blount County!
The next is the introduction of online camp registration. In the past the only way to register for camp was
to print of a registration form and mail it in. This is a huge hassle and is losing us registrations. For this
next summer, we will be doing our registrations straight from the website that people already visit to find
out all the information about Camp. Not only will this increase registrations because of the ease of ac-
cess, but it will decrease the amount of lost payment due to clerical errors or late payments. We will also
be able to easily email parents with important information, and will keep a database of former campers
for future promotions. We hope to open summer registration by early January, so be on the lookout for
the launch announcement!
Now, on to ways you can help. While our facilities are getting better, they still have a long way to go.
This time of year is perfect for work projects around camp. If you, your Sunday School class, your family,
or group of friends are looking for a place to serve, consider doing so at Camp Tipton. There is a variety
of projects that need to be done that can accommodate all ability levels. A few examples are: renovating
pavilion bathrooms, building a small shed behind pavilion for storage, general cleaning and organizing,
painting, HVAC in the gym, small repairs in the cabins, and more. This work cannot get done without
your help, and it has a huge effect on the ministry we do at Camp. Please consider donating your time to
help this ministry reach these children!

CHARM has been heavily involved in Townsend this year sharing the love of Jesus Christ. We now have a team of 8 to 10 who serve diligently min-istering to those that live, work and play in Townsend. Mark 10:45. CHARM is now a year round ministry that is always seeking ways to serve.
55 motel workers are served a snack, prayer and a bible story each Sunday. There are some former workers that get their Sunday bible story by email since they no longer work or live in Townsend.
Year around Bible study on Wednesday mornings at the KOA. This summer 15 churches or mission teams served in 5 campgrounds. There was around 7 salvations and 6 baptisms. The following is a list of Ministries CHARM is involved in…

New Late Fall....we are in the process of starting GED and computer education classes. 10 desk computers and a laser printer have been donated for these classes. We are looking for volunteers to help with this endeavor. We are always looking for churches to partner with. We would love to come to your church and share our ministry and how we could minister with you.

Dr. Sam Greer offers practical ways to seize opportunities in everyday life and make sharing Jesus not just an event but a lifestyle.
In The Gospel Conversation, Sam Greer provides a biblical, intentional, and practical approach to engaging the lost in everyday life. By unpacking a conversation that Paul had with Phile-mon and through his own personal gospel conversations. Sam provides powerful and practical insight to help every Christ-follower start gospel con-versations.
One Conversation began with
John Meador’s deep passion
for having a clear, simple plan
to equip people to share the Gospel.
“Can We Talk?” became that plan and
was birthed from a desire to have the
one conversation that matters the
most – a Gospel conversation as an
effective strategy to renew their pas-
sion for the lost, mobilize disciples to
thrive and create Gospel movements in
their churches.
