They could not afford to send all of us to school so we could not get an education. I was very disobedient to my parents and now I repent for being like that. In 2006, through God’s plan, I came to the Blue Haven Children’s Home. I am really thankful to God that he has given me this privilege. I always thank the Lord for his Love towards me through Blue Haven. When I grow up I want to be a blessing for my community and serve others too.

In 2006,my brother and I werevery blessed to come to Blue Haven Children’s Home. After coming here I learned so many things that I was not able to learn while at my home. I was able to learn how to read and write in English and in Hindi and now I am going to a good English medium school. I am so happy because God has brought me here to Blue Haven and I have also learned about God’s love. The most important thing is that I came to know the only true and living God. After my good education, I want to be a Bible teacher and help the community by teaching God’s Word.

Because of this my mother and I became sick and weak and I was not able to go to school. My sister Rita had to stop going to school in order to cook food for my mother and I. My parents were very worried about me. By God’s grace my father and mother now have a good job at Blue Haven Children’s Home and Blue Haven provides for us along with the other children. I was born into a Christian family. Even though my parents were Christians, I did not have much knowledge of God. I would not listen to what they said and was disobedient to them. But thanks to God, my parents have since been employed by the Blue Haven Children’s Home as the full time cooks. I realize that God has blessed our family and all of my needs are being provided for right along with all the other children. Since that time, I have been studying in a good English medium school and have learned to read, write and speak English. I am studying very hard and believe that God will continue to daily help me in my education. I am now in the 10th class and when I graduate, I would like to be either an Army or a Navy officer.

My family is Hindu and my Father is a driver. We were very poor and we did not have many things. My parents would send me to the government Hindi medium school, but many times I would refuse to obey them and instead of attending school, I would run off with my friends and play.

I can remember while being in the village, I knew nothing about Jesus Christ. However, since coming to the Blue Haven Children’s Home seven years ago, I am learning about Jesus and am also studying very hard in an English medium school. I am currently the only Christian in my family and I am very grateful to God and pray that the Lord will help me to become a more mature Christian. I am still believing and praying for my family to also know who Jesus is. After graduating from school, I want to become an IPS officer.

My parents sent me and my brother to a government school and therefore due to certain situations, I was not able to study properly and receive the best education possible.In 2008 I was able to come the Blue Haven Children’s Home. Here we were and still are blessed to attend a good English medium school and now I can properly speak write and read English. Also, before coming to Blue Haven, I had no knowledge of Jesus Christ, but I soon found out differently. At Blue Haven they teach us the Word of God along with many other daily activities. Through the Word of God, God is good to me and has given me many things. When I graduate from school and am gone from Blue Haven, I want to go places and preach the Word of God all around the world. I have a desire to be a part of bringing in the Lord’s harvest.

I came from Agra, the city of the TajMahal. I am from a Hindu family. My family sent my brother and Ito a government school. In 2008, I was able to come to Blue Haven Children’s Home. It was here that I came to hear and know about Jesus Christ. I had not heard of Him prior to coming here. However, over the last 4 years, I have learned many things about Jesus. I am currently studying in a good English medium school and I can even now speak English. Whatever I ask God, I believe He has given it to me. I have the faith to believe that the Lord will help me and lead me to make the right decisions. In the future. I want to believe God for an admission to become an IPS officer, I also have a desire to go back to my village and tell them all about Jesus Christ and what He has done for me.

My brothers and sisters were not able to go to school and sometimes we didn’t have food to eat or even proper clothing to wear. In 2006, through God’s plan, I came to Blue Haven Children’s Home. Here they enabled me to go to an English medium school. But because I had never gone to school before, I was very weak in my studies. The teachers at school and the staff at Blue Haven helped me a lot and now I can read, write and speak English. All my bad habits are gone. I am very thankful to God to be here at Blue Haven because I know I am growing physically and spiritually. In the future, after finishing my studies in school, I would like to enroll in the Army or the Navy.

All of my family is Hindu and that includes my two sisters and one brother. My parents were very poor when I was young and life always seemed difficult for me. My father worked hard as a laborer in the field only to earn very little money, which was not enough for our family to properly live on. We were in very tough times. Often we didn’t have food to eat and instead of food we just drank water. By God’s Grace, in 2005, my brother and I were brought to Blue Haven Children’s Home. Here we receive good care and are learning a new way of life. I am also learning about the living and mighty God, Jesus Christ. I believe that my God will help me in my education. I can read, write and speak in English. I want to be an engineer. I love my Blue Haven.

Rachit is happy to be from a Christian family. His Father was killed in an unfortunate accident a few years back and his Mother worked in homes to provide the best care she could for her children and their home. After a period of time, his mother was told about the Blue Haven Children’s Home and he was able to come and here to live. He is now learning in a good English medium school as well as learning about Jesus Christ at the Children’s Home. He states that he loves Jesus and he believesJesus died on the cross for his sins. I was unable to get a proper education until someone told my parents about Blue Haven Children’s Home. Upon coming to Blue Haven in 2011, I am very blessed to say that I now have the opportunity to attend a good English medium school, as well as learn about Jesus. Each and every day I am hearing and learning more and more Jesus Christ. God is helping me very much in my studies and in learning English.
