We link our artists releases to our web radio stations to help sell their music. We have an expanding partner base and they are continually increasing their retail partners. Of the 350 + legal download services on the planet, we currently deal with 1/3 of the retailers through our partner network. This is growing. Check out our website for more information. The average good quality release should generate approx Gross sales of $350 per release over a year with no marketing. If the track is hot and with solid marketing behind it, and receiving air play, then this can increase to 5 to 10 times this number very quickly… and grow from there. iTunes and MSN are the main retailers then Yahoo Music. Compilation license sales will increase sales. This is where we have a track placed on a compilation album. These represent increased value to the consumer and they can generate good revenue for all. Sales of Ringtones are subject to marketing. The more you market the more you will sell. Restrictions occur if you do not have a clear strategy. We need to provide the fan | customer good reasons for a them to buy the ringtone. Is the track hot? Is it funny? etc. What's the story on the track etc? Only the best tracks should be considered for ringtones.

Every business in the world takes time to grow. All the super stars like Britney Spears are 3 to 5 year projects that the major labels like Sony have planned many years in advance to turn into stars. A product is only as good as the marketing behind it. A marketing budget is like the defense budget. If you don’t have a budget, then you do not have any defense. Sales are directly linked to the amount of marketing we conduct. The planet produces more music than ever before and the competition for market share is extremely competitive.When you add it all up, the key to success is the same for all business. You have to have a solid plan, a great team, capital, and some luck! Repetition is the key to success. Playing as many live gigs that you can, marketing the music, contacting the fans, having a good website, having a good manager, great reviews by the press. All these factors combined = the recipe that will turn you into a successful artist. How far you go is up to the fans!

Blue Pie has over 4800 people on our website every week as @ December 2005. We have over 5000 people tune into our web radio stations FRINGE and BLUE PIE MUZIK 4U every month.85% of our traffic on our site and stations is from the USA, UK, JAPAN and EUROPE. We receive 2 to 3 requests each week to partner with labels in places like the USA and Argentina. Our artists are gaining global recognition ….in particular with FINTAGE in the Netherlands. We have 4500 + people in our company newsletter and growing every week. We have 14,000 people in our travel newsletter. Our combined web traffic including artists and the label has over 8000 people visiting our sites each week. This is up 300% over last year.

Tune into Fringe Radio and Blue Pie Radio every day and support your label stations. Get your friends to tune in .. Send them an email and get them to listen to you. If you have a ringtone … get people to download it from the site on our home page… have this as your theme song on your phone … promote yourself .. We do this all the time on our phones at Blue Pie. Get as many of your friends to join our newsletter and your fan newsletter. It is as easy as going to our website and then getting them to fill the form out. If you can get their permission then do this yourself to save time. If everyone can get 5 people a week …. Then that means we should be able to get over 300 + people a week joining. Get your friends to support your music and download a song or two. It all helps and this is cheaper than buying a CD. Make sure that you get peoples email address details every time you play a live gig. Try and collect as many as you can at the gigs. This allows us to email them every 2 weeks with all the updates on Blue Pie and your music. If you have an IDEA ….. Write it down ….. Read it over …. Think about it … and then send it to us in an email …. And make sure that it is well thought out …. And super clear. We will then be able to get the team here to work on it.
