Before connecting the Adapter to your PC’s USB port, you must install the Bluetooth Software, which will install everything your system needs to use the Adapter. Once this Setup Wizard is installed, you will be able to connect the Adapter to your PC.

A Insert the Adapter’s Setup Wiz-ard CD into your PC’s CD-ROM. It should start up automatically. If it does not, click Start and choose Run. In the field that appears, enter D:\setup.exe (if “D” is the letter of your CD-ROM drive). Once the CD starts, the Wizard’s Welcome screen should appear.

Click the Install button to install the Bluetooth Software. Click-ing the User Guide button will open up the User Guide’s pdf file.

B After clicking the Install button, the InstallShield Wizard’s Wel-come screen will appear. Click the Next button to continue.

IMPORTANT: You must install the Blue-tooth Software from the CD included with the Adapter before connecting the Adapter to your PC.

C The next screen is the License Agreement screen. Read the License Agreement and click the radio button for I accept the terms in the license agree-ment. Then, click the Next but-ton. You may not click the Next button unless you click the but-ton showing that you accept the terms.

D You will next be asked for a Destination folder. This is where the Bluetooth Software will be installed. A default directory will be displayed but, if you wish to change that, you can click the Change button and select a different folder. Then, click the Next button.

E Now, the Bluetooth Software will be ready to begin installing all of the necessary files. Click the Install button to begin.

The files will then install.

F During installation, you may see a Driver Signature Notice. This product has been tested for use with Windows. Click the OK button to continue.

G At this point, you should con-nect the Adapter to your PC’s USB port. (See the description in the next step for details.) After connecting it, click the OK but-ton.

H The Wizard, along with all you need to install the Adapter, has been successfully installed. Click the Finish button to close the final window.

NOTE: Restart your PC if requested by Windows.

A After a moment, a Bluetooth icon will appear in your system tray.

B To connect the Adapter to your PC, simply plug it into any unused USB port.

Congratulations! The installa-tion of the Adapter is com-plete.

NOTE: Before you can start using the Adapter, you must run the Bluetooth Setup Wizard by right-clicking the Bluetooth icon and selecting the Wizard, described in Step 3. For more advanced setup options, please refer to the User Guide (English Only).

3 Using The Bluetooth Setup Wizard

Before you can begin using the Adapter, you must run the Bluetooth Setup Wizard. Right-click the Bluetooth System Tray Icon and select Bluetooth Setup Wizard from the menu that appears. This will open the Bluetooth Setup Wizard.

The Wizard gives you four choices:

I know the service I want to use and I want to find a Bluetooth device that provides that service. Bluetooth devices provide many services. Select this option when you wish to find a device for a specific service.

I want to find a specific Bluetooth device and configure how this computer will use its services. Already know the device you wish to select? Chose this option when you wish to find a service for a specific device. This option is recom-mended for users who are not familiar with Bluetooth devices.

I want to configure the Bluetooth services that this computer will pro-vide to remote devices. As the Adapter communicates with other Bluetooth devices, so are they communicating with the Adapter. Select this option to configure the services the Adapter provides for other devices.For information on Applications and Services, see Appendix B: Blue-tooth Applications and Services.

I want to change the name and/or device type that this computer displays to other Bluetooth devices. Personalize how the Adapter appears to other Bluetooth devices.

From this screen (not shown), you can click Next to proceed with the Wizard or Cancel to exit the Wizard.

Use the Wizard to configure those options you must. Not all options must be configured. These options are provided in detail on the fol-lowing pages.

After you select this option from the Wizard’s menu and click Next, the Bluetooth Service Selection screen will appear. Select the ser-vice that you need and click Next.

Next, the Bluetooth Device Selection screen will appear. This screen will list those devices that provide the service you’ve requested. Chose the device to which you wish to con-nect and click Next to continue.

The Setup Wizard Completion Screen will appear next. The name of the service will appear at the top of the screen and you can personalize this if you wish. If you wish to further configure the service you’ve selected, click Configure. In most cases, further configuration is not required. To start the connection upon completing the Wiz-ard, select Start the Connection. A shortcut to this device will be placed in the My Blue-tooth Places folder. To create more short-cuts in addition to the one created by default and restart the Wizard, select Cre-ate a shortcut and then restart this wizard so that I can create additional shortcuts. Click Back if you with to go back a step, Cancel if you wish to leave the Wizard without sav-ing your changes, or Finish to complete the Wizard.

The Adapter will then try to connect to that device. If a PIN code is required for security, you will be notified. At this point, you will be asked for your PIN code as well as the PIN code for the other Bluetooth device before the con-nection can be completed.

I want to find a specific Bluetooth device and configure how this com-puter will use its services.

After you select this option from the Wizard’s menu and click the Next but-ton, the Bluetooth Device Selection screen will appear. This screen will list those devices that provide the service you’ve requested. Chose the device to which you wish to connect and click Next to continue.

The Bluetooth Security Setup screen will appear next. Select the pairing options for that device, including the PIN code if required, and click Next. If the PIN code is required, you will be asked for your PIN code as well as the PIN code for the other Bluetooth device before the connection can be completed.

Last, the Bluetooth Service Selection screen will appear. Select the service you wish to use for the device you selected. If you wish to further config-ure the service you’ve selected, click Configure. In most cases, further con-figuration is not required. Click Back if you with to go back a step, Cancel if you wish to leave the Wizard without saving your changes, or Finish to com-plete the Wizard.

Antes de ligar a Placa à porta USB do computador, tem de instalar o software Bluetooth, que instalará tudo o que o sistema necessita para utilizar a Placa. Quando este Assistente de configuração estiver instalado, poderá ligar a Placa ao computador.

A Coloque o CD do Setup Wizard (Assistente de configuração) da placa na unidade de CD-ROM do computador. Deverá ser iniciado automaticamente. Se tal não acontecer, clique em Iniciar e seleccione Executar. No campo apresentado, introduza D:\setup.exe (se “D” corresponder à letra da unidade de CD-ROM). Quando o CD for iniciado, será apresentado o ecrã Welcome (Bem-vindo) do Assistente.

Clique no botão Install (Instalar) para instalar o software Bluetooth. Se clicar no botão User Guide (Manual do utilizador), será aberto o ficheiro PDF do Manual do Utilizador.

B Depois de clicar no botão Install (Instalar), será apresentado o ecrã de boas-vindas do Assistente InstallShield. Clique no botão Next (Seguinte) para continuar.

Innan adaptern ansluts till datorns USB-port måste du installera Bluetooth-programvaran som installerar allt som krävs för att systemet ska kunna använda adaptern. När installationsguiden är installerad kan adaptern anslutas till datorn.

A Sätt in cd-skivan med adapterns installationsguide i datorns cd-enhet. Den startas automatiskt. Om den inte gör det klickar du på Start och väljer Kör. I fältet som visas anger du D:\setup.exe (om "D" är cd-enhetens beteckning). När cd-skivan startar bör guidens välkomstskärm visas.

Klicka på knappen Install (Installera) om du vill installera Bluetooth-programvaran. Om du klickar på knappen User Guide (Användarhandbok) öppnas användarhandboken i en pdf-fil.
