Structure : The structure will include UHSS for the B-post and the side sill reinforcement, together with HSS for the main floor crash energy absorbing zones and the likely inclusion of DP600 for the front chassis legs and floor cross-members.

Technology : All Ecosport have 7 SRS airbags as standard; drivers, drivers knee, front passenger, curtain, and side/thorax. ESC is standard, together with ABS and Electronic Brake-force Distribution.

Trim levels : just the Titanium, and Titanium with X Pack (£1000)Titanium specification includes 16” alloy wheels, front and rear electric windows, front fog lamps, keyless entry and starting.

The Titanium X Pack adds 17” alloy wheels, auto headlamps, rain sensing wipers and partial leather interior.

(Note: there were 120 ‘Limited Edition’ models sold through Facebook® that included 17” alloy wheels, leather interior trims and Ford SYNC).

Rear parking sensors are available for £200.The Ford SYNC pack with Bluetooth, Emergency Assistance, and Voice Control, accessed through a 3.5” TFT colour screen, is £250.
