Who we are - The Johnson County Builders Association is a non-profit organization formed to operate for the benefit of builders, remodelers, sub-contractors, and persons or firms and corporations engaged in allied trades, businesses, industries and professions in the County of Johnson, of the State of Texas. The membership consists of building trade professionals and supporting businesses that are the voice of the construction industry and promotes and protects the interest of our members and consumers.

Mission Statement - Our primary purposes are to provide information, exchange communication and education for members; to interact with local and state legislative bodies to foster a positive building climate; to provide a forum to implement policies that affect the building industry; and to promote professionalism among our members.

Here we are again, set to bring in our 3rd quarter luncheon. If you haven’t made it to any of our past luncheons, you are missing out! Please join us for lunch on July 20th at the Cleburne Conference Center (1501 W. Henderson - Cleburne) at 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM. This event is free to members, and potential members. There are many reasons these meeting are so special, here are a few:

To educate and keep members informed of the industry’s ever • changing subjects, including discussions on upcoming major projects in Johnson County. To provide an opportunity to meet our newest JCBA members • and engage them in our association.To have a chance to spend time for questions and answers with • our local and state elected officials.

The Johnson County Builders Association Board met with Stephen Polozola with Decker Jones Law Firm. Stephen represents developers, homebuilders, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and owners in all aspects of residential and commercial construction. Stephen publishes a set of form residential construction contracts that are used throughout the state and regularly negotiates construction contracts on behalf of owners and builders. JCBA is very happy to have Stephen and the Decker Jones Law Firm joining our Association.

Back on April 20th, 2016, we were greatly impressed by the information we received by Mr. Donald Shelton of Bush-Rudnicki-Shelton, P.C. located in Fort Worth, TX. He explained many things to us concerning the commercial and residential construction law. We would like to thank Pinnacle Bank for sponsoring our lunch, and Lowes of Cleburne for sponsoring our door prizes. It was a great turnout, and we had a great time. Thank you to our board and all of our members that helped make this event a success, and thank you to all of our members that were able to attend!
