Its so hard to believethat six weeks areover We look backnostalgically and wishthat BA could go onforever!!! The ruach

here is over the top;BA is hocking up theTabernacle of Peace,(Mishkan Shalom, ourbuilding) as well as therest of Manayunk,!!!Weve had such a funweek- heres a sneakpeek:MONDAY: Wow- what

an exciting firstday of the week!

After splashing intthe pool we allheaded back to theTabernacle of

Peace, where wewere greeted byour headcounselors, orrather, our veryown Italian Bakersdressed in apronsand mustaches,who came to visitusall the way

As competetive trench gameswere underway, some of us werebusy in the kitchen making ourvery own pizza, the real Italianway! We learned how to spreadand knead the dough with ourthumbs. We even learned how to

throw it up in the air like a realpizza man! As Bnos Achdus wastopping their personal pies withsauces, an array of cheeses,olives, mushrooms, peppers andmore, we didnt stop singing ourItalian chant... The fun didn't stopthere! We were soon off to ourvery own game of ItalianJeapordy!!! We waited with batedbreath as we were called up, one

by one, to throw the dice

and flip over the matchingnumber- would it be a rewardor a

penalty? A slurpee? An errand withMrs. Michaelson? Or checking ifthe toilets are flushed? After manylaughs and cheers, the lastremaining numbers were taken

off the playing board. Way to go girls!!! Youwere true shining stars in this wonderful gaof Italian Jeapordy!

TUESDAY:Pump it Up, Bnos Achdus, Pumit up!!!! Trip day in Bnos Achdusis always a blast- especially whwe....BOUNCE!!!!! As wetongoed and cheered on thebus, we wondered how differen

Pump it up would be from BounU last year... boy, were we in foa surprise- This place was a truupgrade! With the special glow the dark room, crazy obstaclecourses and giant slides, wecould've stayed there all wholeday!!! We were practically flyingdown the slides! We even gotsome of the workers to dance

with us! We made such a kiddushHashem! What a success! We got back toour tabernacle just in time for ices anddismissal!WEDNESDAY:BNOS ACHDUS never ceases to amaze

us!!! After a delicious and refreshing diveinto the pool, we all headed back to campfor a scrumptious lunch and some one ofa kind ruach!! Things were going prettymuch as usual... until suddenly, at 1:15,we heard a truck sound! What could thatbe? Maybe a garbage truck? We ranoutside to find a giant green, polka dotted,colorful, cheerful BUS!!!!! THE FUN BUSis here, girls, hop along and join in thefun!!!! We all tookturns jumping , slidingand dancing in the fun bus! Who ever

knew that a bus could be so much fun?What a day!!! The older bunks madeprofessional fondant cookies- we shapedroses and other shapes... we even had ahotdog! First and second grades beadedgorgeous clasp bracelets for Shabbos!Boy, did they come out stunning! Mainactivity today was run by none other thanour very own 5th and 6th graders... a

A WORD FROM OURSHIUR COUNSELOR:

This. week we learned about the brocha of Al Netilas

Yadayim and Asher Yatzar. We learned about how thankful we

have to are to Hashem for our healthy bodies. We played games

that show us how people who do not have all 5 working senses

feel which makes us thank Hashem for making us healthy. The

girls decorated beautiful Al Netilas Yadayim washing cups to use

at home. They came out beautiful! On Friday we learned about

Parshas Reeh and learned about the mitzvah of tzedakah, we

heard a beautiful story abiut a man who went so far so as not to

embarrass his father by giving him tzeddakah. Rest up! Have a

good Shabbos!!!

to France!!! As song and dance fllled the halls, BnosAchdus was on a roll... We started our day with making overy own netilas yadaim cups- they came out beautiful! Wsplashed into the pool... after a hysterical Sense It gameat lunch, we all headed to our French artist studios to starworking on our master pieces! You could hear a pin drop Bnos Achdus for the next forty five minutes, as everyoneworked intently on their Le Arte creations! Yasher koach tour winning artists Rosa Lynn and Miriam Coe! Activitieswere soon underway... Main Activity was an intense gameof Eiffel Tower cup stacking!!! The towers were gettinghigher and higher... tension was mounting... no oneMOVED so as not to disturb our contestants

concentration... finally time was up and we had our winneSimcha Bettun! It was such a close call, great job toeveryone!! See you tomorrow!!!FRIDAY:In shiur today we learned about Parshas Reeh, and abouthe mitzvah of giving tzedaka to poor people! Acting outscenarios really brought it to life! We went on to have thebiggest, wettest, funnest, splashiest WACKYest waterfight!! Water balloons were flying! On to lunch, and our ereShabbos special, challah baking!!! Enjoy them!!! Shabbosparty was amazing- thanks to our 3rd and 4th grade Shabbchoir/ songdance!!!!

Dearest Bnos Achdus,What a week weve had!!!! You girls are truly thebest campers around- always smiling, ruachdik,cheering. . . getpumped for our last two weeks!Have a great Shabbos, see you next week!
