We sang our amazing theme song andshowed them how much ruach and spunkwe have! But, we still remembered that "(BNOS) ACHDUS is our goal, and we'llachieve it!". Marc amazed us all, whileturning paper into real birds, grasping fire,

melting spoons with fingers, throwingbowling balls, attaching cut rope, loopingmetal rings, and spookily reading ourminds! We were truly blown away! We allthen headed back to the best camp onearth- BNOS ACHDUS!!! Yasharkoach toour older bunks for being so very patientwhile waiting for our new bus driver whoclaimed he was "fueling"... B"H we gotback safely! Youd think that our daywould end there, but no!!!! After lots ofwater fun, we all headed to the front court

(our BA stadium) for Machanayim- ourvery first staff game!!! We all watched withbated breath as the ball whizzed back andforth and the competition was on Wecheered them on, and some of our verywell-behaved campers even got to join thegame! Of course we can't forget the half-time- Faigy Pollack and Chaya Sarah

A WORD FROM OURSHIUR COUNSELOR:

Since this summer our Shiurtheme is Tefilla, this week

we learned about Hafroshas Challah, taking and burning a piece

from the dough before making the Challah. We spent some time

earning halachosof Hafroshas Challah- when to separate

Challah, when to make a brocha, how much to separate we also

discussed how when one is performing this mitzvah, he should

daven, as it is an eis ratzon. We learned about Rebbetzin

Kanievsky, AH, who would do HafroshasChallahevery week and

we heard stories about different women who would join her, and

whose tefilloswere answered. Enjoy the Hafroshas Challah

magnets!

Phelps had us rolling on the floor with their hilarious, cute,and awesome half-time performance- way to go, we're soproud of you! The load speakers were booming, filling us in,and the referees were blowing their whistles, and Bnos

Achdus made the perfect cheerleading squad! What a fungame to watch and be part of! We all got yummy ices, and

skipped off home, wondering what would be in store forWednesday!Wednesday- Mazal Tov! We would like to send our well-wishes to our new mothers in the labor and delivery ward ofBnos Achdus Birthing Center! Yes, Wednesday was noneother than Mommy Baby Day!!! Donned in various forms ofhead coverings, (including the latest style- bathing suittichels) each new mommy received a baby of her very own,made of a balloon and water! As baby-raising requires muchpatience, love, and devotion, workshops were held for someof our new mommies, where we held an open-forumdiscussion on how to properly raise our babies. We are still

waiting to see just which talented BA-er will be able to keepher baby around for the longest! (weve already had severalpoppings this week!) Main activity was The Mommy MysteryGame as several (real) mommies were called and gave usclues to help us figure out just whos mommy they were!Thank you to all our co-operative mommies!Thursday- Thursday brought with it a whole slew of specialactivities first of all, in honor of 7/11/2013, we all hiked oveto 7-11 for each girl to receive her very ownSlurpee- YUM! First and SecondGrade Hawaiian Girls enjoyeda splashing fun water gun

fight with their counselors!!!Congratulations to theWinning Team Aon your outstanding playin Machanayim, and to

both teams of Hong KongChing Chongs, A and B,

for tying in Trench! Thirdand Fourth Grade and Fifthand Sixth Grade bunks blew usaway with their energy as they

each spent an entirehalf hour on their feet in anintense aerobics sessions withRochel Wachs, our aerobics instructor! Way tgo, High Flyers and Hong Kong Ching Chong

As usual, we were having a great day here inBnos Achdus, when suddenly we heard sostrange sounds coming from outside... we ranto see what it was, and sure enough, REALLIVE animals- horses, ducks, piglets, bunnyrabbits- an entire petting zoo- had made theirway over to Bnos Achdus parking lot! Bnos

Achdus had a farm- E-I-E-I-O!!! Every single

REMINDERS:

- On Monday, Erev Tisha Baav, there will beearly 2:00 dismissal. On Tuesday, TishaBaav, there will be no camp. On

Wednesday, camp resumes as usual.- Campers should be arriving no earlier than9:00 am every day. There is no supervisionprior to official day camp hours, and we areconcerned for the safety of your daughters.

- Davening takes place in camp; please makesure your daughters bring a siddur with them

to camp.- Please send your daughters with bathingsuits every day. We will not be swimming

during the nine days, but there will be wateractivities for which bathing suits may be

needed.- Absolutely no peanut butter is allowed in

camp.- The head counselors can be reached at

that each camper be sent to campnext week with a total of $25,

which will be divided andpresented to her counselor(s) andthe specialty staff. Thank you inadvance for your participation!
