DEAR FRIENDS: Friends of Pathways wrapped up our twentieth year in 2014! In two decades, the organization has evolved from a handful of visionary volunteers to four full-time staff members and six seasonal employees. From the first mile of pathway poured in 1996, to construction of the Phillips trails in 2011, to the inspirational opening last Septem-ber of the Snake River Pedestrian and Cyclist Bridge, we certainly have a lot to cele-brate! And we aren’t done yet!

In 2015, Friends of Pathways will continue to enhance Jackson Hole by:

Pass winter backcountry, and on Forest trails.

Without a doubt, our successes are a direct result of your generosity, your time and your steadfast belief that trails and pathways enhance life! So thank you for being a part of FOP, whether it has been one year, or twenty, your support matters.

SUCCESSES & CELEBRATIONS2014 HIGHLIGHTS

Advocated successfully for $3.5 Million to complete South Park Loop Pathway and $3.25 Million to improve streets in Teton County through SPET funding.

Completed a two-year project, constructing 9 bridges in the Game Creek area to prevent wetland degradation.

Celebrated the opening of the Snake River Pedestrian and Cyclist Bridge with 3,000 community members.

Advocated successfully for a 2015 completion of the pathway from the Snake River Bridge to the Town of Jackson, including a tunnel at Skyline Ranch.

Constructed a separate-use trail in the Josie’s Ridge area to improve hiker/biker safety and enjoyment. Celebrated non-motorized recreation and safe access for all in Grand Teton National Park during the 15th annual ride in memory of Gabriella Axelrad.
