For the last 16 years, my career has focused on the care of critically ill neonates, infants, children and adults with complex congenital and acquired heart disease, with a particular interest in how care delivery in the intensive care unit can impact morbidity. My research is focused on extracorporeal support, acute/chronic kidney injury and patient outcomes. I am board certified in Pediatrics, Pediatric Cardiology and Pediatric Critical Care. I currently serve as the Medical Director of the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit and CardiacAnesthesia Recovery Unit and Co-Director of the Center for Acute Care Nephrology at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.
