It is hereby notified for general information that the 2nd Half Yearly DepartmentalExamination of Officers, 2020 conducted by the Board of Revenue for all Departments ofGovt. of Odisha will be held from 26.12.2020 to 31.12.2020 at the venues as per theprogramme enclosed. The details of examination schedule (both written & viva-voce) can bedownloaded from website of Board (boardodisha.nic.in).

Viva-voce Examination will be held from 02.01.2021 to 18.01.2021 inside the officebuilding of Board of Revenue, Odisha, RajaswaBhawan, Chandinichouk, Cuttack according tothe Rules for Departmental Examination of the respective services as per the programmeenclosed.

The Forenoon and Afternoon sittings of the written examination will begin at 10:00A.M & 2:00 P.M respectively. The Officers must remain present at the examination hall 15minutes before the commencement of the Examination.

The examinees are required to furnish application either online or offline.For applying online for Departmental Examination of Officers, the examinees

are requested to visit the Board's website (boardodisha.nic.in) and before proceeding forfilling the online application form, they are required to go through the guidelines andinstructions available in Board's website.

For offline submission of form, the examinees are required to furnish theapplication in the prescribed proforma through the Headof Office, which can be downloadedfrom the website (boardodisha.nic.in) along with two attested passport size photographsand one self addressed stamped envelope addressed to the Secretary, Board of Revenue,Odisha, Cuttack, so as to reach at the Board of Revenueon or before 10th December, 2020positively, failing which no Admit Card will be issued in favour of the applicant. If the headof office is an examinee, his I her application should duly be forwarded through the nextHigher Authority. The application format shall also be available with the officer designatedby the Collectors of all the districts and at the Examination Branch, Board of Revenue,Odisha, Cuttack. No candidate shall be allowed into the Examination Hall without ADMITCARD.

The officers under training at the Gopabandhu Academy of Administration,Bhubaneswar / Madhusudan Institute of Accounts and Finance, Bhubaneswar / any otherinstitution should submit their application in the above manner through their Academy /Institute. Online Admit Cards shall be issued to the Examinees during the mid ofDecember,2020 For off-line applications, it will be issued under certificate of posting. Ifany examinee does not receive his / her Admit Card by 21.12.2020, he/she may contactthe Examination Branch, Board of Revenue. For answering the written paper "with books",the officers will be allowed to use only Bare Acts and Rules brought by them. No otherreference material shall be allowed inside the Examination Hall. Any candidate foundindulging in any kind of malpractice during examination hours shall be debarred fromappearing in the Departmental Examination of the next three years. Besidesshe / he shallalso be recommended for Departmental action.

No examinee shall be allowed to appear examination without mask.
