Böjte Csaba• Böjte Csaba (24 January 1959, Kolozsvár, Transylvania, Romania)

He trained to become a car mechanic, then worked as a miner in Hargita. In 2002 he founded the Saint Francis Foundation of Deva. The miracle started in 1992 when on the streets of Deva to these hungry and dirty, aimlessly wondering orphans holding out their begging hands, someone responded with embracing arms. Csaba Bojte, a Franciscan monk and the orphan children broke down the locks of the long forsaken monastery of Deva and step by step created a home from the ruins of the old building. As the need demanded it, the run down panel homes became family homes and the monastery a school for the orphans whose number grew rapidly. Today more than 1400 children are taken care of in these homes and the school

I trust that like any other nation, God also created us Hungarians from love and goodness. He created us to be his

children to light, to give life and to carry splendour.

God bless their confidence that makes a home for us!

Peace all over the world

Gift! What a beautiful concept: everything that we have on the Earth is a gift of God. Blue sky, our two hands, life itself, everything, everything is a gift of God.

To be perfect you do not need anything more but everything less. „Go, sell everything you have and give to the poor…”.

Father Csaba has done, is doing and, as long as he breathes, will be doing everything in order to save children in need. By doing this, he gives future and humanity a chance. He is definitely our candidate for The Nobel Peace Prize!
