CUTTING REQUIREMENTSPlease read instructions first before cutting. Seam allowances vary so measure through the center of the quilt before cutting border pieces.

Assorted PrintsCut 4 Dresden blades using the template provided from each of the following assorted prints:

red main, navy paisley, red paisley, teal paisley, navy skulls, red skulls, coral roses, teal roses, red stitch, teal medallion,red stars, navy stars

Teal MainCut 5 strips 5½” x WOF for Border 1.

Cream StarsCut 4 squares 20½” x 20½” from cream stars.Cut 4 center circles from cream stars. Add ¼” seam allowance

if necessary for your favorite method of appliqué.

QUILT ASSEMBLYRefer to quilt photo for placement of blocks.

Dresden Plate BlockRefer to quilt photo for placement of Dresden blades. With right sides together, sew the sides of the blades to create the Dresden plate. Lay right side of Dresden plate on top of interfacing. Stitch ¼” around the outside edge, pivoting at the seams. Trim seam allowance, clip curves, and turn right side out. Smooth out the edges and press. Center the Dresden plate on a cream star 20½” square and attach the Dresden plate and cream star center circle using your favorite method of applique. Repeat to make 4 Dresden Plate Blocks.

Quilt Center AssemblyRefer to quilt photo for placement of blocks. Lay out blocks in 2 rows of 2 blocks. Sew rows together to complete the center of the quilt.

BorderSeam allowances vary so measure through the center of the quilt before cutting border pieces. Sew border strips together end to end if necessary to get the length needed. Sew side borders first.

Border 1Side borders should be 40½”. Top and bottom borders should be 50½”.

Finish quilt by layering the quilt top, batting, and back. Bind with your favorite Riley Blake fabric from the La Vie Boheme Collection. Have fun with your colors and enjoy the journey of making your quilt.
