ECONOMISERo It’s a device used to heat feed water by utilising the heat in the exhaust flue gas before leaving through the chimney.

AIR PREHEATERo It is used to recover heat from exhaust flue gases.oThe air required for the purpose of combustion is drawn through the preheater where its temperature is raised.oIt is installed between economiser and the chimney.
