We will helpyou promote and publicize your convention or event by providing information on Boise productsand services. In addition, our knowledgeable team provides the many services listed below whichare designed to give meeting planners, event organizers and attendees the finest convention experiencepossible.

Pre-Event Planning, Liaison to Public Officials and BidsIf applicable, sales manager will prepare letters of invitation from the Governor, Mayor and/or Executive Director to the appropriate person or committee inviting the group to hold its convention, meeting or sporting event in Boise. BCVB staff will travel to make presentations to those who select event sites, if appropriate. For bids and Requests for Proposal (RFPs) the Sales Manager will solicit rates hotel rooms, meeting space and sporting venues.

Site Visits and Familiarzation Tours (FAMs)If appropriate, a sales manager will handle all arrangements for the decision maker to visit Boise, experience first-hand the city’s hotels, meeting facilities, event venues and attrac-tions. We will plan and execute a FAM tour each year focusting on area attractions and venues.

Attendance BuildersTo help promote your convention or event to attendees, the Bureau can provide a selection of brochures, postcards, digital photography, promotional videos, customized email blasts and general information on Boise.org
