Bolivia sits at the meeting point of several major biogeographical regions and is by far the most diverse landlocked country: 1400+ bird species (that is 40% of South America’s bird diversity), including 20 endemics and another 100 spectacular bird species confined to a variety of limited ecosystems!

A three-week trip is likely to produce around 400 species including at least ten endemics. A longer trip could push the list well past the 500 mark.

Expect good accommodation, easy to moderate terrain, moderate to high elevation, mild to hot climate. We prefer distinctive wilderness lodges that get our clients close to nature and are rooted in the regions environment.
