• After Evo Morales resigned, Bolivia's stability sees more favorable

changes in the democracy thanks to the elections in October 2020

Bolivia for tourism

• Bolivia has the second largest natural gas reserves in

South America. The government has a long-term sales

agreement to sell natural gas to Brazil and Argentina

• The US Geological Service estimates that Bolivia has 5.4

million cubic tonnes of lithium, which represent 50%–

70% of world reserves. Which gives Bolivia an economic

strength in the rising world demand of lithium for

batteries for electric vehicles and stabilization of electric

grids with large proportions of intermittent

Education Investments and Talent Growth

• The cities of Cochabamba and La Paz are both home

to over 20 universities. Over the last five years, the

two cities have been producing around 350 new

engineers per year.

• In 2020, it’s estimated that the whole country will

produce a combined total of at least 500, a number

that is expected to grow year-on-year due to the

boom in the IT Industry.

number in the country, there is a greater demand for

IT graduates each year, with a larger enrollment of

students in universities during the last decade.
