2020 TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE Entries Close July 17, 2020

TOURNAMENT RULES RE-ENTRY1. Team Events - Individuals may bowl a maximum of three times in team events. Teams may cash only one time in the team prize list with the same players, but may cash up to 3 times with a change of 2 players.

2. Singles & Doubles - Individuals may bowl a maximum of three time in Singles/Doubles events. Bowlers may cash only once in the singles prize list. Bowlers may cash only one time in the doubles prize list with the same partner, but may cash up to 3 times with a change of partner.

AVERAGES and HANDICAPS3. A bowlers average is always based on 21 games or more, averages with less than 21 games will not be considered. Only winter averages are used, unless the bowler only has a summer average. Sport averages only considered if bowler has no other average. Youth league averages will be accepted.a)EntrantswillusetheirhighestUSBCcertifiedwinterleagueaveragefrom2018-19b)Ifabowlerdoesnothaveanaveragefrom2018-19season,theywillusetheirhighestUSBCcertified,of21gamesormore,atthetimeofbowling.c)Ifabowler’saverage,asofthedateofbowling,is10ormorepinshigherthantheirentering average the higher average will be used.d)Ifabowlerdoesn’tmeetanyoftheaboverequirementstheybowlscratch(230ave).e) If a bowler has a higher average, 21 games or more, in any other competition and it is higher than their entering average, they MUST disclose this to the tournament manger.

4. Bowlers are individually responsible for verification of their average,even if they do not submit their average. Failure of a bowler to report their correct averagebytheendofthefirstgame,ofanyevent,maydisqualifytheirscores.Ifabowlers average is found to be higher than the reported average, the scores will be disqualified.Iftheincorrectaverageislowerthantheactualaverage,thebowlerwillusethe average reported at the time of bowling, which is the higher average.

5. If a bowler has only a Sport League average, their average will be adjusted using USBC Rule 201c . Indicate on the entry form if you are using a Sport league average.

6. Handicap based on 90% of 230.Themaximumhandicapforteameventis1170pins.Forsinglesanddoublesthemaximumhandicapis229pins(145ave)formenand297pins(120)forladies.

7. TeamEvents-MalebowlerswithaUSBCsanctionedleagueaverageoflessthan145will be entered with an average of 145.

8. Allbowlerswhohavequalifiedforaprizeof$600ormoreinanytournamentwithin the previous 12 month period must report their actual score, position and amount won. This will be used for possible rerating per USBC rules. Also a bowler must report if they have been rerated in any tournament in the last 12 months. These disclosures must be made in writing AT LEAST one hour prior to bowling.

9. BowlersshallbefamiliarwithandabidebyUSBCRule319a(Averages),319b(AssignedAverages),319c(re-rating),319e(AverageAdjustment),322a(TardyPlayers)and328(ChangingDelivery)whichwillapplytoallparticipants.

ELIGIBILITY

10.Bowlers must present their USBC memberships card upon check-in. If bowler lost their membership card, they can print a copy on Bowl.com. Bowlers without anUSBCcardmaypurchaseanAdultBasic(onetimemembership)for$5forTeamand$5forSingles/Doubles.ThosepayingaparticipationfeearenoteligibleforUSBCAwards.

11. Unmarried grade school and high school students who have not attained the age ofeighteenmustabidebyUSBCRule13.Youth bowlers are not permitted to bowl in tourney.

12. EntrieswillnotbeacceptedfromPBAmemberswhofinishedinthetop25moneylistthe previous year.

13. We reserve the right to refuse future entries from; teams or individuals who do not check in one hour prior to scheduled time and those who do not complete their competition in the allotted time. Team event is allotted 4 hours for their competition. SinglesandDoubleseventsareallotted4(6bowlersonapair)hours.

14. TheDutchmanTournabidesbytheoneLaneCourtesyRule. All bowlers are asked to abide by this rule, or it could affect their eligibility in future tournaments.

SUBSTITUTES & CHANGES

15. Allsubstitutesmustfilloutasubstitutionform.Thisformmustbesubmittedatleastone hour prior to the scheduled start time. This applies to team, doubles, and singles. All changes may be emailed, faxed, mailed or made on site. Substitute will assume the original bowlers position.

16. Line-upchangesforanyeventwillonlybemadeifrequestedbytheteamcaptainor squad sponsor. All changes must be submitted at least one hour before scheduled start time.

17. Tournament management reserves the right to change published lane assignments.

18.EVENTS-Bowlers can only cash in one division in each event

The tournament is divided into events and divisions:

19.Ladies teams do not qualify for 825 Division.

Teams and individuals are entered into both scratch and handicap divisions.

Only one prize will be paid per event, that being in the division with the highest money value.

20.Bolony Bank is an optional event using the total of a bowler’s singles and doublesevents. Bowlers may enter once in this event. If they bowl more than once their first score each event will be used. Entryisoptionalandis$10.00.BolonyBankentrymustbemadepriortobowling.Prizespaidatleastin10.

21. Optional Singles Doubles -Whenbowlingthedoublesevent,thebowlerhastheopportunity to use that 3 game score for an optional singles event. There will be three divisions;Handicap,ScratchandLadies.Entryisoptionalandis$10.00.OptionalSinglesDoublesentrymustbemadepriortobowling.Prizespaidatleast1in10.

22. Optional Singles Team-Whenbowlingtheteamevent,thebowlerhastheopportunity to use that 4 game score for an optional singles event. There will be three divisions;Handicap,ScratchandLadies.Entryisoptionalandis$10.00OptionalSinglesTeamentrymustbemadepriortobowing.Prizespaidatleast1in10.

23. Recycled Teenager Event (55+ Division) Bowlers age 55 or over are automatically entered into this division provided they provide the tournament with their birth date. There is no additional fee for this division. Failure to report birthday will result in bowler not entered into senior division, but they will still be entered in the other single event divisions.

24. Entrant that bowls singles event, must bowl doubles event or vice versa.

MISCELLANEOUS25. Prizes will be paid to at least 1 in 7 entries except where indicated. Prizefundheldintrustforyourprotection.Allprizefundsreturned100%.Checks will be mailed to the team captain or squad sponsor.26. All entry fees must accompany entry form. Entries not paid in full 2 weeks in advanced, will be charged $5 per person per squad late fee.27.Therewillbea$60.00chargeforreturnedchecks.28.On-sitetransactionswillbecashormoneyorderonly.Nopersonalchecks.29.PROTEST must be filed in writing to the tournament manager within 24 hours of completion of match.
