Walter Schmiedhuber began his career as an automo bile technician apprentice. After several years in car sales a commer-cial basic training followed. 1985 he started working for Bona Austria, where he covered all areas of back office work, including purchasing and logistics, finally to take over the position of admi-nistration manager.But very soon his heart beat once again for the sales field and after some time he took over the sales management for the Aus-trian market. In 1995 Walter Schmiedhuber made – alongside his work at Bona – a further training for export and international business at the university of Salzburg. 1998 he started to establish diffe-rent foreign markets like Hungary, Slovenia and Croatia through a dealer network.In 2000 Walter Schmiedhuber changed from Bona Austria to the headquarter of Bona, BonaKemi AB in Malmö and reported from then on directly to the Swedish top management.Today he is in charge of 32 export countries, which he handles with his area sales manager team Georg Laimer and Thomas Hössl as well as for the Bona subsidiaries Poland Czech Repu-blic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania and Austria. Walter Schmied-huber has, however, stuck to his Austrian roots. His office, and also his home are both situated in Hallwang near Salzburg. From there he and his team manage the activities for the Division East Europe/Distributors.

Doris Klampferer started working for Bona in March 2005. She worked as assistant for both Division Global and Division Indus-trial Coating, each to 50%. Due to changes within the organiza-tion Doris Klampferer completely switched over to Division East Europe/Distributors in July 2007, working as assistant for Walter Schmiedhuber. She also assists the Area Managers with opera-tional and marketing issues.Doris lives in a small village outside of the city Salzburg. In her leisure time she likes to be out in the countryside doings sports like mountain walking, swimming and cycling.

Ewald Voppichler has been working for Bona for 24 years. He began as a salesman in Salzburg, Tyrol and Upper Aus tria. After 5 years he moved to the technical department. His tasks were application technology, head of training, as well as product ma-nager for machines, adhesives, finishes and maintenance. He also worked internationally in this position. A further step in his vocational career was the floor layers mas-ter, which he successfully completed in 2004. In 2008 he got the possibility to work as Manager for Technics and Training for the division East Europe/Distributors. His new task includes the technic, training and sales support for Walter Schmiedhuber and the area managers Britta Andersson, Horst Würsig and Georg Laimer. He spend his spare time with his wife and two children and if he has time he enjoys doing sports like mountain biking, running and skiing.

Thomas Hössl, the youngest of our Area Sales Managers, just started to work for Bona in January 2010. He is the successor of Horst Würsig, who will retire very soon. His main tasks will be the support and advancement of our Eastern European sales partners. After fi nishing his study of business consultancy with special subject “Marketing/Sales” in 2003, he quickly started his international job career as an Area Sales Manager. He could gain a lot of experience since he travelled throughout Europe, North Africa up to South East Asia. Together with his new wed he lives in Wiener Neustadt, a small city in the south of Vienna.

Georg Laimer is educated as a technical engineer and started 1993 to work at Bona Austria. From 2000 to 2007 he was wor-king as Area Manager for Industrial Coatings in Central Europe and was responsible for producers of pre finished floors within this sales area. Since September 2007 Georg works as Area Manager in the sa-les area East Europe, Middle East and Africa together with Bona distributors. Georg works very hard to implement our Bona Life Time Sup-port. This is a complete offer of service, training and support both on a technical and marketing side.He lives outside of Salzburg/Austria in a small village with his wife Andrea and their 4 sons.

Bona Prime Deep is an oil-based primer intended to produce the en-riched grain pattern and colour only previously attainable by using a product with a high solvent content. Bona Prime Deep is easy to ap-ply with no risks of overlapping, and contains less than 10% VOC.

such as smoked oak, steamed beech, timbers with high tannin content, cherry etc.

Bona Prime Trowel is a 1-component waterborne base coat designed for application with trowel. Normally no grainraising occures and abrading is therefore unnecessary.

Bona Flow is a 2-component waterborne polyurethane finish for the surface treatment of wooden floors in commercial and domestic ar-eas subject to heavy wear. Its solvent content is only 4% but Bona Flow still has all the good properties of solvent based finishes without their hazards. Bona Flow does not cause any yellow discoloration and the natural appearance of the wood is retained.

Bona Deck Master is a 1-component sealant and adhesive on a silane-polyether-prepolymer basis. It has excellent basic adhesive properties and is easy to use in deck board joints in the construction of exterior decks or on boats and ships. Immediately after mixing component A (dispersion) and component B (powder) a chemical reaction starts. This chemically binds more than 50% of the total water content within the product in approx. 4 hours. The amount of free water in the adhesive is less than 11%. It is especially suitable for timbers sensitive to swelling and for low absorbent substrates.

• The pot life of R580 is depending on the added water amount.

• Normally, concrete floors need to be shot-blasted as a mechanical pre-treatment.

Terms and Conditions

1. Terms and conditionsFollowing conditions are valid for all orders and deliveries

from Bona AB Sweden – place of performance and ju-

risdiction shall be Malmö/Sweden. Through placement of

orders, the buyer accepts these terms and conditions.

2. Legal relationship of the partiesThe Distributor shall buy the products as an independent

wholesaler and shall sell the products in its own name, for

its own account and on its own risk. The Distributor may

not in any respect represent Bona or enter into any agree-

ment or other commitment on its behalf.

3. Orders from the DistributorThe Distributor shall order the products. Any order shall

be specified in accordance with instructions to be pro-

vided by Bona in writing in advance in order to ensure

secure and correct deliveries.

4. Time of deliveryTime of delivery shall be stated in an order confirmation.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, goods are sold ex-

works (Incoterms 2000). For sales against letter of credit,

time of delivery will be calculated from the day when Bona

AB has received the letter of credit. Minimum time of de-

livery is 3 weeks.

5. The Distributor‘s sales effortsThe Distributor undertakes to market and sell the pro-

ducts actively and with the care and diligence required

to achieve good sales results. The Distributor shall at his

own cost create and maintain a suitable sales and service

organization throughout the whole territory.

7. Trade marks and other industrial property rights

The Distributor shall only use Bona’s trade marks and pro-

duct names when marketing the products. Bona retains

the property rights of all delivered goods until complete

payment.

8. Customers outside the territoryThe Distributor shall refrain from active sales of the pro-

ducts (e.g. through advertising, establishing of any branch

or any distribution depot) on markets outside the territory

reserved to other distributors or Bona AB. The Distributor

shall not appoint sub distributors without the prior written

approval by Bona AB.

9. PaymentsAll payments for products delivered shall be made in EUR

at the Supplier‘s place of business. The Distributor shall

pay all products in advance, unless otherwise agreed in

writing. The supplier may, but is not legally bound to, grant

the Distributor extended time for payment subject to se-

parate agreements between the parties.

In the event that the Distributor at any time should fail to

make payment in full on the due date, Bona shall be en-

titled to claim interest on the sum overdue until payment is

made at the rate of 10% per annum.
