Hommage à Bonnard Concept Time is project is an art exhibition in tribute to Pierre Bonnard. e exhibition space is located in the MoMA in New York. e art pieces displayed show the time Bonnard spent with is wife Marthe. e viewer learns more about the couple over time as they move through the exhibition. e slowing of time is implemented through the placement of the added exhibition walls to the existing space. e viewer starts in the couples living area were things seem straight forward and normal. As the viewer gets to know them over time and is invited to the couples dining area the viewer’s , understanding of the couple changes. Towards the end of the exhibition nothing is in line and the viewer has a look into the dark and ending times of Marthe and Bonnard’s relationship.
