Upon receipt of your signed reservation form and deposit, we will, subject to availability, reserve your spot on the tour. You may consider your booking confirmed when you receive a confirmation notice and invoice from us.

RATES: Rates are based on the minimum number of 10 guests and do not include airfare costs. Currency exchange rates and other factors and are subject to change. Though it is rare for Classic Escapes to make a price adjustment after promotion of an itinerary, they do reserve the right to assess a surcharge if the minimum is not met, or if increases are forced upon us by airlines or other partners or because of changes in currency exchange rates.

INSURANCE: It is a condition of booking, that the sole responsibility lies with the guest to ensure that they carry the correct comprehensive travel and medical insurance to cover themselves, as well as any dependents/traveling companions for the duration of their trip. DAYS 1/2 ~ USA/CASABLANCA/RABATHOTEL LE DIWAN MGALLERY. (Meals Aloft; D)Board your flight to Casablanca. Upon arrival, you’ll be met by your expert guide and driven to the Imperial city of Rabat, the capital of Morocco. Following a seafood lunch, you’ll visit a Kasbah constructed by the Almohads in the 12th century.

DAY 3 ~ RABATHOTEL LE DIWAN MGALLERY. (B,L,D) Spend the day touring the charming city of Rabat. Visit the fortified Kasbah des Oudaias that surrounds the 17th-century Royal Palace and the beautiful Andalusian Gardens. Continue to the Kasbah of Chellah’s Roman relics to see the remnants of Sala Colonia, the Roman port that flourished until the end of the 3rd century. The visit to Mohamed V Mausoleum will reveal the beauty and intricacy of the Moroccan traditional architecture.

DAY 4 ~ RABAT/MEKNES/VOLUBILIS/FEZRIAD MYRA. (B,L,D) This morning, take a short drive to the Royal City of Meknes, a city whose splendor has remained largely unchanged for centuries. The city once had over fifty palaces, with almost eighteen miles of walls and twenty gates. The most impressive of these gates is Bab Mansour, renowned for its vivid green tiles. Within the ruins of the sultan’s palace, you can visit the extensive granaries, the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum, and a few horrifying examples of the Sultan’s dungeons. Continue to the Roman ruins of Volubilis, where you can see not only the major public monuments but also examples of residential quarters and how the city actually functioned. Arrive in Fez this evening.

DAY 5 ~ FEZRIAD MYRA. (B,L,D)Visit the large Kairaouine Mosque and University, the oldest university in the world, and the 14th century Medersa Bou Inania noted for its stucco Koranic scripture, intricately carved wood, and colorful tiles. Fez-el-Bali is a thousand-year-old labyrinth of 300 mosques and 9,400 winding streets and alleyways. At Dar Batha museum you’ll see the finest examples of local art and crafts. Leave the old city to visit Merinides tombs which offer an excellent overview of the old city, Fez-el-Jedid, and the Mellah.

DAY 6 ~ FEZ/CASABLANCANOVOTEL CASABLANCA. (B,D)Drive to Casablanca where you visit the amazing Hassan II Mosque, one of the few mosques open to non-Muslim visitors. After Angkor Wat and Mecca, it is the largest religious monument in the world and certainly one of the most impressive. Although the architecture is traditionally styled, the structure is actually home to the today’s best technology.

DAY 7 ~ CASABLANCA/MARRAKECHRIAD PALAIS SEBBAN. (B,D)Today’s drive is to the renowned city of Marrakech. Arrive into the “Red City” just in time to enjoy the main square, called Djemmâ El Fna “Square of the Dead.” Enjoy Moroccan mint tea and explore the labyrinthine streets off the square. A menagerie of entertainers, including storytellers, fire eaters, snake charmers, acrobats, and jugglers can be enjoyed at the square, while at the souk, you can find whatever your heart desires, from spices and food, to carpets, ceramics, and many Moroccan artifacts.

DAY 8 ~ MARRAKECHRIAD PALAIS SEBBAN. (B,L)Following a morning at leisure, visit the 12th century Koutoubia Mosque, one of the largest in Africa. After lunch, head to the Majorelle Gardens. Recently owned by the late French couturier Yves Saint Laurent, these lush gardens provide a wonderful haven from the bustle of Marrakech.

DAY 9 ~ HIGH ATLAS MOUNTAINS/KASBAH TOUBKAL/MARRAKECHRIAD PALAIS SEBBAN. (B,L,D)Transfer by 4X4 vehicles to the High Atlas Mountains and the fabulous Kasbah Toubkal for lunch. This authentic guesthouse is situated on the hillside of the Toubkal Mountain, the highest peak in North Africa. Enjoy a walk, with several levels of difficulty suited for beginners and more advanced trekkers, and elect to either reach the Kasbah by a mule ride or on foot for those who like a challenge. Return to Marrakech in the late afternoon and join your group for a farewell dinner.

DAY 10 ~ MARRAKECH/CASABLANCA/USA(B, Meals Aloft)Transfer to the airport for your flights home, via Casablanca. This journey might be over, but your memories of Morocco will remain forever.
