UNIT 1

THE MOUSETRAP

Characters: Man, Woman, Mouse, Doctor, Chicken, Lamb, Cow.

Resources: Box with a mousetrap, soup dish

SCRIPT:

Narrator: A mouse is looking through the wall. A woman and a man are opening a box.

Mouse: (thinking) Hummmmm!!! it looks good, what kind of food can be stored there?

Narrator: The mouse left worried. He went to find the chicken and said.

Mouse: There´s a mousetrap in the house… a mousetrap!

Narrator: The chicken said.

Chicken: Excuse me, Mr. Mouse; It is a problem for you, but not for me. I don´t care.

Narrator: The mouse left worried. He went to find the lamb and said.

Mouse: Mr. Lamb, there´s a mousetrap in the house!

Lamb: Excuse me, Mr. Mouse; It is a problem for you, but not for me. I don´t care.

Narrator: The mouse left worried. He Then went to see the cow and said.

Mouse: Mr. Cow, there`s a mousetrap in the house!

Cow: Excuse me, Mr. Mouse; It is a problem for you, but not for me. I don´t care.

Narrator: Then the mouse went to sleep very sad. That the mousetrap got the tail of a

snake. The woman ran to see the mousetrap. Then the snake bit the woman.

Woman: Ohhh, a snake bit me.

Narrator: The man called the doctor. The doctor said. You have to make a chicken soup.

Man and Woman: Come here little chicken, I am going to make a soup.

Chicken: Lets runnnn! I will be the soup.

Narrator: The woman was still sick. Then the man went out to look for the lamb.

Man and woman: Come her little lamb. I am going to make a soup.

Lamb: Let’s run. I will be the soup.

Narrator: The woman got better. To celebrate, the man went out to look for the cow.

Man and woman: Come her little cow. I am going to make a soup.

Cow: Let’s run. I will be the soup.

Narrator: Finally the mouse decided to get out.

Mouse: Remember, when someone have problems you have to help.

UNIT 2

MR. CAT’S PARTYCharacters: Squirrel, Bear, Turtle, Rabbit 1, Rabbit 2, Crow, Deer, Moose, Cat

Setting: Forest with two little houses.

SCRIPT:

Squirrel: Good morning, Mr Bear! How are you?

Bear: Good Morning, Mrs. Squirrel.

Squirrel: Oh, Mr. Bear, I’ve got an invitation from the turtle, my friend. It says: Mr. Cat is

inviting everybody to a celebration on January 6th.

Turtle: Mr. Cat is inviting everybody to a celebration on January 6th.

Bear, Squirrel and turtle: We accept! We like parties! (Holding hands)

(two rabbits on stage hopping)

Bear, Squirrel and turtle: Rabbits, my dear friends, Mr. Cat is inviting everybody to a

celebration on January 6th.

Rabbits: We accept! We like parties!

Bear, Squirrel and turtle: Hurray! (Holding hands)

(The crow and moose on stage dancing)

Bear, Squirrel, turtle and rabbits: Crow and Moose, my dear friends, Mr. Cat is inviting

Bear, Squirrel, turtle, rabbits, crow and moose: Deer, my dear friend, Mr. Cat is inviting

everybody to a celebration on January 6th.

Deer: I accept! I like parties!

Bear, Squirrel, turtle, rabbits, crow and moose: Hurray! (Holding hands)

(The animals holding hands, go to Mr. Cat`s house)

Bear, Squirrel, turtle, rabbits, crow and moose: Good morning, Mr. Cat. Thank you for the

invitation!

Cat: Good morning. I’m sorry, that´s last year´s invitation.

Bear, Squirrel, turtle, rabbits, crow and moose: (everybody is surprised) What happened?

Cat: The turtle walks so slow. It took her a year to arrive. I’m sorry, that´s last year´s

invitation.

Bear, Squirrel, turtle, rabbits, crow and moose: What happens now? What happens to the

party?

Cat: (inviting everybody to come in) Come in, come in, my friends. Let´s have a party!

Let’s sing and dance… and have fun!

(Inside cat´s house all the animals sing and dance)

UNIT 3THE GINGERBREAD BOY

Characters: Narrator, Old Woman, Old Man, Cow, Pig, Horse, Dog, Fox, Gingerbread Boy

SCRIPT:

Narrator: Once upon a time an old woman and an old man decided to cook aGingerbread Man.

Old Woman: I’m going to cook a Gingerbread Man.

Old Man: Good idea!I love Gingerbread!

Narrator: When they cooked him, the Gingerbread jumped, and went down the street.

Old Woman and Man: Stop, little Gingerbread Boy! I want to eat you!

Little Gingerbread Boy: Run, run! You can’t catch me, I’m the Gingerbread Man!

Narrator: The little Gingerbread Boy saw a cow.

Cow: Stop, little Gingerbread Boy! I want to eat you!

Little Gingerbread Boy: Run, run! The Old Man can catch me! You can’t catch me, I’m the Gingerbread Man!

Narrator: Then the little Gingerbread saw a horse.

Horse: Stop, little Gingerbread Boy! I want to eat you!

Little Gingerbread Boy: Run, run! The Old Man can catch me! The cow can’t catch me. You can’t catch me, I’m the Gingerbread Man!

Narrator: Then the little Gingerbread saw a pig.

Pig: Stop, little Gingerbread Boy! I want to eat you!

Little Gingerbread Boy: Run, run! The Old Man can catch me! The cow can’t catch me. The horse can’t catch me. You can’t catch me, I’m the Gingerbread Man!

Narrator: Then the little Gingerbread saw a dog.

Dog: Stop, little Gingerbread Boy! I want to eat you!

Little Gingerbread Boy: Run, run! The Old Man can catch me! The cow can’t catch me. The horse can’t catch me. The pig can’t catch me. You can’t catch me, I’m the Gingerbread Man!

Narrator: Then the little Gingerbread saw a fox.

Fox: Stop, little Gingerbread Boy! I want to eat you!

Little Gingerbread Boy: Run, run! The Old Man can catch me! The cow can’t catch me. The horse can’t catch me. The pig can’t catch me. The dog can’t catch me. You can’t catch me, I’m the Gingerbread Man!

Fox: Look a river!

Little Gingerbread Boy: Oh no a river!

Fox: Get on my tail. I will take you.

Little Gingerbread Boy: Ok. Here I go.

Fox: Get on my back. I will take you.


Fox: Get on my nose. I will take you.


Fox: Get on my mouth. I will take you.

Narrator:Then the fox opened his mouth and ate the Gingerbread Man.

Fox: Mmm, tasty!

Narrator: Once upon a time a little red hen found a grain of wheat.

Little Red Hen: Who will plant this wheat grain?

Pig: I will not.

Cat: I will not.

Dog: I will not.

Turkey: I will not.

Little Red Hen: Then, I will do it. Clo – clo!

Narrator: The little grain of wheat started growing, and growing, and growing.

Little Red Hen: Who will cut the wheat?

Pig: I will not.

Cat: I will not.

Dog: I will not.

Turkey: I will not.

Little Red Hen: Then, I will do it. Clo-clo!

Narrator: Then the hen asked.

Little Red Hen: Who will thresh the wheat?

Pig: I will not.

Cat: I will not.

Dog: I will not.

Turkey: I will not.

Little Red Hen: Then, I will do it. Clo – clo!

Narrator: And she treshed the wheat.

Narrator: Then the hen asked.

Little Red Hen: Who will take the wheat to the mill?

Pig: I will not.

Cat: I will not.

Dog: I will not.

Turkey: I will not.

Little Red Hen: Then, I will do it.

Narrator: The hen came back with a bag of flour. She asked

Little Red Hen: Who will make this flour into bread?

Pig: I will not.

Cat: I will not.

Dog: I will not.

Turkey: I will not.

Little Red Hen: Then, I will do it. Clo-clo!

Narrator: And she maked the bread. She asked

Little Red Hen: Who will eat this bread?

Pig: I will!

Cat: I will!

Dog: I will!

Turkey: I will!

Little Red Hen: I am sorry… but no. I will eat it. Clo-clo!

Narrator: And she ate the bread.

(Girl mouse 1 and 2 enter)

Gossipy Girl Mouse 1: Mr. and Mrs. Mouse´s daughter is the most beautiful in the world

Gossipy Girl Mouse 2: Every mouse wants to marry her.

Gossipy Girl Mouse 2: But, her parents don´t like any of them.

(They leave. Mr. and Mrs. Mouse enter)

Mr. Mouse: Who will we marry our daughter? Nobody is good for her!

Mrs. Mouse: She must marry the most powerful in the world.

Mr. Mouse: The most powerful is the Sun!

(A cardboard sun enters stage)

Mrs. Mouse: Mr. Sun! Our daughter is the most beautiful in the world.

You are the most powerful.

Mr. Mouse and Mrs. Mouse: Do you want to marry her?

Sun: I´m not the most powerful. The most powerful is the Cloud.

Mr. Mouse and Mrs. Mouse: The Cloud?

Sun: Yes. The Cloud covers me.

(A cardboard cloud enters stage and covers the sun. The sun disappears)

Mrs. Mouse: Mr. Cloud! Our daughter is the most beautiful in the world.



Cloud: I´m not the most powerful. The most powerful is the Wind.

Mr. Mouse and Mrs. Mouse: The Wind?

Cloud: Yes. The Wind blows me.

(A cardboard wind enters stage and blows the cloud. The cloud disappears.

Mrs. Mouse: Mr. Wind! Our daughter is the most beautiful in the world.



Wind: I´m not the most powerful. The most powerful is the Wall.

Mr. Mouse and Mrs. Mouse: The Wall?

Wind: Yes. The Wall stops me.

(The wind can´t destroy the wall and leaves stage)

Mrs. Mouse: Mr. Wall! Our daughter is the most beautiful in the world.



Wall: I´m not the most powerful. The most powerful is the Mouse.

Mr. Mouse and Mrs. Mouse: The Mouse?

Wall: Yes. The Mouse makes me holes.

(The wall doesnt´leave stage. A young boy mouse enters from behind the wall)

Mrs. Mouse: Young mouse! Our daughter is the most beautiful in the world.



Young boy Mouse: Your doughter is the most beautiful girl in the world.

I want to marry her.

Mr. Mouse: Ok. You are the most powerful in the world.

Mrs. Mouse: More powerful than the sun, the cloud, the wind, and the wall.

Mr. Mouse and Mrs. Mouse: You will marry our daughter.

(The girl mouse enters and hugs the young boy mouse. The gossipy mice enter).

Gossipy mice: We wish you the best!

(They hug the happy couple. They sing and dance)

UNIT 6THE WOLF AND THE 7 LITTLE KIDS

Characters: Narrator, Mother Goat, Wolf, Goats 1, 2, 3, 4, 5,

6, 7

SCRIPT:

Narrator: Once upon a time, there was an old goat who had seven little kids. One day the

old goat went to the forest to get food for her kids. She told her kids.

Mother: Dear children, I am going to the forest. Don´t open the door to the wolf. He can

eeat you all.

Goats: Ok mum, don’t worry. We won´t open the door to the old wolf.

Narrator: The mummy goat went to the forest. Then somebody knock at the door, and a

voice said.

Wolf: Open the door, my dear children. I am your mother.

Goats: We won’t open the door. You are not our mother. Your voice is rough. You are the

wolf.

Narrator: Then, the wolf went to a shop.

Wolf: Hello, I would like a piece of white chalk to make my voice soft.

Shop assistant: Ok, here you are.

Narrator: Then somebody knock at the door, and a voice said.

Wolf: Open the door to me, my dear children. I am your mother.

Goats: We will not open the door. You are no our mother. Your feet are black. You are the

wolf.

Narrator: Then, the wolf went to a miller’s.

Wolf: Hello, I would like some flour to put on my foot.

Miller: Ok, here you are.

Narrator: Then somebody knock at the door, and a voice said.

Wolf: Open the door to me, my dear children. I am your mother.

Oldest Goat: We will open the door. Your voice is soft and your feet are white. You are

mummy.

Narrator: The Little kids opened the door. Oh no, it was the wolf. Then, the little kids ran

to hide themselves.

Goat 1: I will hide under the table!

Goat 2: I will hide under the chair!

Goat 3: I will hide under the bed!

Goat 4: I will hide under the table!

Goat 5: I will hide under the chair!

Goat 6: I will hide in the under the bed!

Goat 7: I will hide in the clock!

Narrator: The wolf found and ate them all, except the one in the clock. Soon the wolf fell

asleep. Then mummy came back home.

Mother Goat: Oh my! The door is open! What happened? Little children, where are you?

Goat 7: Mummy, I´m here, in the clock. The wold ate the Little children.

Mother Goat: Don´t worry. I’ll help to go out. Where is the wolf?

Narrator: The wolf was asleep. The Little children were jumping inside of him.

Mother Goat: Oh, my Little children. I´ll make a hole in the wolf with these scissors.

Narrator: Then the six Little children jumped out the grass.

Goats: Mother! Mother! We are fine.

Narrator: Then mummy said

Mother Goat: We need 5 big stones.

Goats: Yes, mother. Take the 5 stone. One, two, three, four, five.

Mother Goat: Put them inside the wolf.

Goats: Ok, mother. One, two, three, four, five.

Narrator: Then the wolf woke up.

Mother Goat and Little goats: Hello, Mr Wolf. How are you?

Wolf: Hello goats. Oh I feel so heavy, I´ll go to the river to drink some water.

Narrator: He went to the river to drink wáter. He felt heavy, so he fell into the river.

Wolf: Little goats, please help me.

Mother Goat and Little goats We won´t help you. You are the wolf. Bye bye.

UNIT 7GOLDILOCKS AND THE THREE BEARS

Characters: Narrator, 3 Goldilocks sisters, Daddy Bear, Mummy Bear, Baby Bear

SCRIPT:

Narrator: Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Goldilocks.

Goldilocks’ 3 sisters: Let’s go to the forest to play and take some flowers.

Narrator: Then they saw a pretty little house.

Goldilocks’ 3 sisters: Wow, a pretty Little house. Let’s go into the house.

Narrator: She knocked at the door.

Goldilocks’ 3 sisters: It seems there´s nobody inside… the door is open.

Narrator: And she went into the house.

Goldilocks’ 3 sisters : Hello, hello….. is anyone home… is anyone home?

Narrator: Then, Goldilocks came into the kitchen. There were three bowls of soup.

Goldilocks’ 3 sisters: Oh, I am so hungry.

Narrator: She tasted the soup from the first bowl.

Goldilocks’ 3 sisters: This soup is too hot!

Narrator: Then she tasted the soup from the second bowl.

Goldilocks’ 3 sisters: This soup is too cold.

Narrator : Then she tasted the soup from the third bowl.

Goldilocks’ 3 sisters: Ahhh, this soup is perfect.

Narrator: Then, Goldilocks came into the living room. There were three chairs.

Goldilocks’ 3 sisters: Oh, I am so tired!

Narrator: She sat in the first chair.

Goldilocks’ 3 sisters: This chair is very big!

Narrator: Then she sat in the second chair.

Goldilocks’ 3 sisters: This chair is very big, too!

Narrator: Then she sat in the third chair.

Goldilocks’ 3 sisters: Ahhh, this chair is perfect.

Narrator: Then, Goldilocks came into the bedroom. There were three beds.

Goldilocks’ 3 sisters: Oh, I am so asleep!

Narrator: She lay down in the first bed.

Goldilocks’ 3 sisters: This bed is too big.

Narrator: Then she lay down in the second bed.

Goldilocks’ 3 sisters: This bed is too small.

Narrator: Then she lay down in the third bed.

Goldilocks’ 3 sisters: Ahhh, this bed is perfect.

Narrator: Goldilocks fell asleep. Then, the three bears came into the kitchen.

Daddy Bear: Someone ate my soup.

Mummy Bear: Someone ate my soup, too

Baby Bear: Someone ate my soup too. All my soup!

Narrator: Then the tree bears went into the Living Room.

Daddy Bear: Someone sat in my chair!

Mummy Bear: Someone sat in my chair too!

Baby Bear: Someone sat in my chair too. All the time!

Narrator : Then the three went into the bedroom.

Daddy Bear: Someone slept in my bed!

Mummy Bear: Someone slept in my bed, too!

Baby Bear: Someone slept in my bed, and she’s still there!.

Narrator: Then, Goldilocks woke up and saw the three bears.

Goldilocks’ 3 sisters: Help! Help! Run, run, run Glodilocks.

Narrator: Goldilocks ran away into the forest. And she never came back to the home of

the three bears.

Daddy Bear, Mummy Bear, Baby Bear: Good-byeeeeeeee!!

UNIT 8THE THREE LITTLE PIGS

Characters: Narrator, Mother, Piggy 1, Piggy 2, Piggy 3, Wolf

SCRIPT:

Narrator: The three little pigs lived with their mother. One day mummy said.

Mother: Dear sons, you are now all grown up. You need to find your own place to live in.

Piggy 1, 2, 3: Yes, mother, We´ll find a house to live in. Good-bye mother!

Mother: Good-bye, my sons… but be careful of the wolf. The wolf likes to eat little pigs.

Piggy 1, 2, 3: Yes, mother. We will be careful of the wolf!

Narrator: The three little pigs walked, and walked, and walked. Finally, Piggy 1 saw some

straw and said.

Piggy 1: I am going to build my house here. Good-bye, brothers!

Piggy 2 and 3: Good-bye, brother!

Piggy 1: Wow, I love my house. It is not strong, but I´m not afraid. Now, I’m going to play.

Narrator: Piggy 2 and 3 walked and walked and walked. Finally, Piggy 2 saw some wood

and said.

Piggy 2: I am going to build my house here. Good-bye, brother!

Piggy 3: Good-bye, brother!

Piggy 2: Wow, I love my house. It is not strong, but I´m not afraid. Now, I’m going to play.

Narrator: Piggy 3 walked and walked and walked. Finally, Piggy 3 saw some bricks and

said.

Piggy 3: I am going to build my house here.

Narrator: He worked and he finished his house. Then he said.

Piggy 3: Wow, I love my house. It is strong. I’m not afraid. Now, I’m going to play.

Narrator: One day the wolf knocked at the door of Piggy 1. The wolf said.

Wolf: Little pig, little pig, let me come in!

Piggy 1: I am not going to open the door. Go away, bad wolf!

Wolf: Then I´ll huff and I´ll puff and I´ll blow your house in!

Narrator: The wolf huffed and puffed and blew the house in. Then Piggy 1 run to Piggy 2

house.

Piggy 1: Open the door! Open the door! The bad wolf is coming!

Piggy 2: Come in quickly!

Narrator: Then the wolf knocked at the door of Piggy 2. The wolf said.

Wolf: Little pigs, little pigs, let me come in!

Piggy 1 and 2: We are not going to open the door! Go away, bad wolf!


Narrator: The wolf huffed and puffed and blew the house in. Then Piggy 1 and 2 run to

Piggy 3 house.

Piggy 1 and 2: Open the door! Open the door! The bad wolf is coming!

Piggy 3: Come in quickly!

Narrator: Then the wolf knocked at the door of Piggy 3. The wolf said.

Wolf: Little pigs, little pigs, let me come in!

Piggy 1, 2 and 3: We are not going to open the door! Go away, bad wolf!


Narrator: The wolf huffed and puffed but he couldn´t destroy the house.

Piggy 3: Ha, ha, ha, ha You can´t destroy my house!

Wolf: I´m going up to the roof, up to the roof, up to the roof!…. I´m going down the

chimney, down the chimney, down the chimney!

Piggy 1, 2, 3: Let’s put a pot of boiling water under the chimney, the wolf will scream.

Narrator: The wolf went down the chimney and…

Wolf: Ahhhhhhhh! It´s too hot! It hurts, it hurts! Run wolf, run away! I don´t want to eat

Little pigs!

Piggy 1, 2, 3: Bye, bye, bad wolf!

UNIT 9PETER AND THE WOLF

Characters: Peter, Uncle Jim, Aunt Angie, Villager 1, Vilager 2, Vilager 3, Vilager 4

SCRIPT:

Narrator: Once upon a time, there was a shepherd named Peter. He lived with his uncle

Jim and his aunt Angie. Every night they told stories about wolves.

Peter: Uncle, are you afraid of wolves?

Uncle Jim: No, but you must be careful with wolfs. They can eat us and our sheep.

Peter: Aunty, are you afraid of wolves?

Aunt Angie: Yes, I am Peter! Everybody is afraid of wolves!

Peter: Oh, I see!

Aunt Angie: It´s late Peter. Let’s go to sleep.

Peter: Good night Uncle Jim, good night Aunt Angie.

Jim and Angie: Good night, Peter!

Narrator: Next morning, Peter was taking care of the sheep. He said.

Peter: I am bored! I don´t like to take care of the sheep. I will have fun.

Narrator: Peter started shouting.

Peter: The wolf! The wolf! The wolf is coming!

Villager 1: What´s wrong?


Villager 2: Where is the wolf?

Peter: He´s behind those trees!

Villager 3: I can´t see the wolf!

Villager 4: Are you sure Peter?

Peter: Yes I am! He´s behind those trees! Look!

Villager 1, 2, 3, 4: Let´s get him!

Narrator: The villagers went to catch the wolf and Peter started laughing.

Peter: Ha, ha, ha, ha!… It isn’t true! Ha, ha, ha, ha! The wolf is not coming!

Villager 1, 2, 3, 4: It is not funny.

Peter: Yes it is! Ha, ha, ha, ha!

Villager 1, 2, 3, 4: Let´s go, we have work to do

Peter: Ha, ha, ha, ha! You are scared of the wolf! You are scared of the wolf!

Narrator: Next morning, Peter was taking care of the sheep. He said.

Peter: I am sorry. I will always tell the truth.

Jim and Angie: It´s late Peter. Let’s go to sleep.

Peter: Good night Uncle Jim, good night Aunt Angie.

Jim and Angie: Good night, Peter!

Narrator: Next morning, Peter was taking care of the sheep. He saw the real wolf. He said.




Villager 2: It isn’ true! The wolf is not coming!

Villager 3: The wolf is hungry, give him a piece of bread! Ha, ha, ha, ha.

Peter: The wolf is coming! I am telling the truth! Help! Help!

Villager 4: The wolf is thirsty, give him some water! Ha, ha, ha, ha!

Peter: The wolf is coming! I am telling the truth! Help! Help!

Villager 1, 2, 3, 4: It isn’ true! The wolf is not coming! Let’s go! We have work to do!

Narrator: Peter went back home. He started crying. His uncle and aunt said.

Jim and Angie: What happened Peter? Why are you crying?

Peter: It was the wolf! I shouted! There was a wolf there!

Jim and Angie: Oh! You told the truth!

Peter: Yes, It was not a joke.

Jim and Angie: They thought it was a joke, just like yesterday. Do you remember?

Peter: Yes, I remember, and I am sorry!

Jim and Angie: You learned your lesson, Peter. You must always tell the truth.

Peter: I will always tell the truth, I promise!

UNIT 10

MARY THE HEN

SCRIPT:

Narrator: Mary is in the front door with her 6 chicks

Mary: Are you ready? Let’s go to the river!

Chicks: Cheep, cheep, cheep, cheep, cheep

Mary: Come on.. hurry up… it’s a beautiful day!

Chicks: Cheep, cheep, cheep,cheep, cheep.

Narrator: they walk toward the river. Mary sees Mr. Cat lying under a tree.

Mary: Good morning, Mr. Cat.

Mr. Cat: Good morning, dear Mary.

Mary: It’s a beautiful morning! We are going to the river… Do you want to come with us?

Mr. Cat: No, thank you, I am very tired.

Mary: Ok… have a nice day.

Mr. Cat: Good-bye.

Chicks: Cheep, cheep, cheep, cheep, cheep.

Narrator: they walk toward the river. Mary sees Mrs. Duck lying under a tree

Mary: Good morning, Mrs. Duck.

Mrs. Duck: Good morning, dear Mary.

Mary: It’s a beautiful morning! We are going to the river… Do you want to come with us?

Mrs. Duck: No, thank you, I am very tired.


Mrs. Duck: Good-bye.


Narrator: Mary and her chicks arrive in the river.

Mary: This is a wonderful place for you to play!


(the chicks play for a while)

Mary: Come here… it’s time to read a short story.


Narrator: Mary starts reading.

Mary: Once upon a time there was a little cat… (she looks at her watch)


Mary: Oh, my! It’s late, you have to go to school! Let’s go back to the farm!


Narrator: they go back to their house.

Mary: Hurry up! … pick up your bags!


Mary: Let’s go to school!


Narrator: She takes the chicks to school. Then Mary sees some wheat grains on the

ground. She picks up the grains.

Mary: Oh! This is wonderful! Today is my lucky day! I will plant them right now!

Narrator: she goes to see Mr. Cat, lying under the tree.

Mary: Mr. Cat! Mr. Cat! I found these wheat grains!… would you like to help me to plant

them?

Mr. Cat: Not right now… I am tired!

Mary: Ok, thank you anyway.

Narrator: Then, she goes to see Mrs. Duck, lying under the tree.

Mary: Mrs. Duck! Mrs. Duck! I found these wheat grains!… would you like to help me to

plant them?

Mrs. Duck: Not right now… I am cold!

Mary: Ok, thank you anyway.

Narrator: Her chicks come back from school.

Mary: Let’s plant the wheat grains!


Mary: Now, we must water the grains every day!


Mary: Now, we must cut the wheat!


Mary: Now, We must take the wheat to the mill!


Narrator: They ask their neighbors to help them. Mary sees Mr. Cat lying under a tree)


Mr. Cat: Good morning, Mary.

Mary: We are going to take the wheat to the mil. Do you want to come with us?

Mr. Cat: No, thank you, I am very tired.


Mr. Cat: Good-bye.


Narrator: Mary sees Mrs. Duck lying under a tree)



Mary: We are going to take the wheat to the mil. Do you want to come with us?

Mrs. Duck: No, thank you, I am very tired.


Mrs. Duck: Good-bye.


(Mary and her chicks go back to their house with a bag of flour and cook the bread)

Mary: This bread is delicious!


Mary: Now we will go to see Mr. Cat and Mrs. Duck.


(They go to see Mr. Cat, lying under a tree)


Mr. Cat: Good morning, dear Mary.

Mary: Would you like to eat some of this delicious bread?

Mr. Cat: Oh, yes! yes! Mary! Sure I would!

Mary: Oh…No! because you didn´t help me! My chicks and I will eat the bread! Bye!


(They go to see Mrs. Duck, lying under a tree)



Mary: Would you like to eat some of this delicious bread?

Mrs. Duck: Oh, yes! yes! Mary! Sure I would!

Mary: Oh…No! because you didn´t help me! My chicks and I will eat the bread! Bye!


(Mary and her chicks leave the house. They go home and they eat the bread)
