• We have to listen with the intent to understand and not reply.

• See the world the way he or she sees it.

• It does not mean that you have to agree with everything, you just understand it.

• This is the habit of self renewal, says Covey, and it necessarily surrounds all the other habits, enabling and encouraging them to happen and grow.

• Covey interprets the self into four parts: the spiritual, mental, physical and the social/emotional, which all need feeding and developing.

Conclusion

• For doing successful business 7 good habits are very important.

• The success literature of the last half of the 20th century largely attributed success to personality traits, skills, techniques, maintaining a positive attitude, etc. This philosophy can be referred to as the Personality Ethic.

• So, this book tells us about this traits of character and personality and seven habits of highly effective people.
