Research Criteria:Research for individual projects contained within book based on my personal problem-solving tech-niques and project guidelines.
Target Audience:Classmates and instructor in Design Methodolo-gies class.
Concept:Create a book that features unique, creative solu-tions to given design or logistically challenging problems. The style of the book should be repre-sentative of the author’s personality as the content of the book is based off of the author’s own methodological problem-solving techniques.
Solutions:The Thompson Design Methodolog y is a collec-tion of the total work completed in the Design Methodologies graduate class. Aside from being a complete personalization of the my unique solutions, it is very much representative of my personality and the writing contained therein is constructed in a low-to-middle style conversational tone. This tone is intended to be vocally representa-tive of how I actually speak, and not written to talk down to the audience or to teach them something– though the latter result is a fortunate effect once the viewer finished reading the book .
