This project tries to make a reflection about the act of trave-lling. When you are travel you discover, learn and have a lot of experience, people usually needs to keep that experiences with them to in some way.This project consists on taking small pieces of textile and link
them together with hook-and-eye closure. Each piece takes the rol of one personal experience. You always can add a pice more and build up the structure at the same time as you are having new experiences making it bigger at the same time that you are growing as a person.
JOURNEY
This project plays with the idea of order and disorder, taking a classic garment like a shirt is and making a new interpreation of it. The shirt is separated in parts, and the parts are ordered by size and inserted in a rectangular shape. These parts linked together wth white bands can be placed on the body creating a new shirt that plays with shapes and simetry.
The result is a piece that is diffe-rent from the original without really adding anything but just changing the order of the parts. It is not only different in its form but also in its meaning as the new garment is much more a leisure garment, far away from the tidiness of the original piece.
