Autism Introduction:

Autism is a neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by impaired social interaction, verbal and non-verbal communication, and restricted and repetitive behavior.

It can be associated with intellectual disability, difficulties in motor coordination and attention and physical health issues such as sleep and gastrointestinal disturbances. Some persons with autism have talents in visual skills, music and art.

Project aim

1. To explore the potential of autistic children and disabled children and give them more happiness through camps activities.2. To make people know more about autism, help decrease discrimination against autistic children, disabled children and their families through sharing of EPs.3. To make a larger impact on the society and arouse attention from people through events. We aim to stimulate youth to act and care more about autistic children and disabled children with their own power.

EP Job description Before the project

1. [Information collecting] EPs will help us collect some information about autistic children in their own countries and how people solve autistic childrens career development problems in their own countries. This is for Sharing part during the project.

2. [Culture Sharing] EPs will prepare the sharing of their own cultures, in the form of giving presentations and demonstrations with some traditional souvenirs (mainly for the Global Village & Charity Sales).

During the project1.[EP training] Before attending camps in Autism Institution and Disabled Union, EPs will join all the training, to know more about autistic children in China for the better cooperation with their buddies and teammates.

2.[camps] EPs will design and participate in activities with autistic children and disabled children, like artistic activities and outdoor activities.

3.[Sharing] EPs will attend sharing in Autism Institution, Disabled Union,cafe, school and English clubs. EPs will share their cultures, the information they collected in their countries and their experiences with the autistic children and disabled children during the project with others. 3.[Global village & Charity Sales] Culture sharing. EPs will bring a few countrys traditional souvenirs for the charity sales.

1.Arrival reception: AirportAIESEC XISU will arrange your picking upplease try to arrive in daytime 2.Accommodation: provided by host family during the project 3.Meal: not provided 4.Transportation: not provided 5.Visa and work permit information: Visa F is preferred. But if you cant get visa F,visa L is also acceptable. But please tell the OCP in advance.

6.Health insurance: EPs should buy health insurance before coming to China.

7.Requirements for EPPsychology preferred, Education preferred, EP with previous experience of communicating with autistic children are preferred
