2. General
Contents
With the addition of the BLM Booklet Maker to the SDD product range, a cost effective full-bleed solution is available which has a small footprint and is easy to operate. This machine is designed with high reliability in mind resulting in cost effective operation due to long production with minimal service requirements. The Booklet Maker BLM6700, further referred to as BLM, is the core of the Booklet Maker system line as if they were one and is fully modular. This manual specifically describes the installation of the BLM6700 only (when a complete system line with a Front Trimmer, 2-Side Trimmer and Square fold is already installed). The BLM is used for folding and stapling a booklet. Booklets with a maximum of 30 sheets can be stapled. Operating the BLM and adjusting the settings is achieved via the User Interface (UI). The BLM is for on-line use behind the Océ DP-line and Canon ImagePRESS digital printers equipped with a HCS3-stacker. Installation instructions for the other modules in this line can be found in their respective manuals.
