Rain Painting Sprinkle drops of food coloring on a paper plate. Hold it in the rain for about a minute. Talk about the designs created by the rain.
Cloud Watching Lie on a blanket outdoors and watch the clouds. Name the different things you see.
Chalk Shadows On a nice sunny day, trace your child’s shadow with chalk. If you do this at different times during the day, you can compare how the shadow changes.
