Ensures an easy and reliable communication.Brand owners now more and more requesting bio-based products but

incentives/mandates would drive the development faster. In certain value chains there are a price premium for bio-based

products. Otherwise this is often one of the hurdles for the development of the Bio-based Economy.


A CHANGE IS TAKING PLACE-BIO-BASED PLATFORM CHEMICALS ARE REQUESTED FOR BUILDING NEW VALUE CHAINS.

These standards are the base for the transition. Agreed by all member states and are mandated by the commission.
