Our history

1951

60/70’s

In 1951, the Borri brothers opened a

small provincial furniture company,

making and selling furniture.

The sons gradually

took over from their

fathers and began

making bedroom

furniture and modular

systems expanding

the production lines.

Borri is now a dynamic company which,

thanks to extensive experience in

various sectors, is capable of producing

components for furniture and cabinets for

any application.

80’s

10’s

At the end of the 80s, following a considerable economic decline

in the sector, Borri, which was going through another generational

handover, reinvented things, switching to the production of

furnishings for the outdoor holiday market.

This approach and the ever-changing demands of the market

encourage the company to try out new materials, new processes

and new products, constantly enriching its know-how.

BORRI carries out the processes for the designed furniture component, producing

parts for all kinds of furniture and cabinets.

All of our production takes place in ITALY, as we wish to preserve the characteristic

production quality and origin of our products.

Our custom production methods enable us to be quick and efficient. Our aim is

to pay attention to every detail, with special crafting, using specialised operators

or specific machines to maintain the characteristics of quality that are typical of

Italian products.

Our strength lies in the constant innovation activity developed up to now.

All of this translates into the development of dynamic innovation, day by day.

Multi-ply panels of every kind of woodTo complete with veneer, use rough or paint, for a variety

of uses.

Veneered and laminated multi-ply panelsWorktops, schools, laboratories, caravans, nautical fittings.

“Postformed” panelsEdge clad in continuity with the surface. Caravan doors.

Hollow panelsWood panels with a light heart created using polystyrene

or honeycomb inserts. Furniture for the home and caravans.

MDF panelsPanel made of mixed wood fibres (Medium Density

Fibreboard) suitable for painting or veneering.

For multiple uses.

Solid-surface panelsSheet material made from a combination of aluminium

hydroxide and an acrylic polymer. Unlimited number

of different colours and formats, allowing versatility,

functionality and flexibility. Thermoformable. Unlimited

fields of application.

Laminated and layered panelsSurfaces for walls, doors, furniture and installations in public

buildings, railway stations, airports, shops, public leisure

facilities (gyms, libraries, etc.), schools, rest homes, hospitals

and laboratories. As well as tables and kitchen counters,

and all kinds of cabinets.

PMMA / PVC / ABS sheetsPlastic sheets of various kinds, used to convey different

appearances to the panels without the need for paint.

The Borri production plant is in Tuscany, in the province of Florence (central-northern Italy).

We are present with our export department at the most important international fairs.
