Olga Bykhovsky mezzo–soprano Born in Moscow as a musically gifted child; study of piano at the Gnessin Music School, continued at the Myaskovsky Music School for piano, voice, and organ. Began voice lessons at the age of 16 with Galina Kuznetsova, principal voice teacher of the New Opera Theater in Moscow. Study of Applied Linguistics at Moscow University and at Columbia University. Opera at the New England Conservatory, vocal study with Normma Giustiani and coached repertoire with William Merrill and Jeffrey Stevens. Performed at the Roman Music Festival and as soloist with the prize-winning children's choir EDERA of Rome. Recitals around Boston, in collaboration with BSO Violist Michael Zaretsky and and pianist Yakov Yakoulov.
