We are excited that you thought of us as a perspective venue for your wedding. Creekside Villa is a newly renovated boutique style hotel located in the heart of the Canadian Rockies. We are a special style venue that offers an all-inclusive intimate and personalized event with everything you could need for your day here, at the Villa. We have a beautiful indoor venue space that can host up to 70 of your family and friends, and an outdoor ceremony space with beautiful mountain views. Our hotel facility has 12 rooms that can hold up to 40 guests. Deciding to book with Creekside Villa creates the ability to really design every aspect of your event how you want, and your guests experience starts from the minute they walk in the doors.

At Creekside Villa we offer a customized experience that sets us apart from other wedding venues in Canmore. Our all-inclusive wedding packaging includes everything you need for your special day including linen rentals, table rentals, the private booking of the villa for the day of your event and the rooms for two nights, food and bev-

erage at $150 per person, set up and tear down, the use of all ceremony sites, all staff required for your event and the exclusive use of our in-house planners.

Our in-house planners work with you from day one to customize and create the event of your dreams. Our popular on-site seasonal restaurant offers fresh and innovative foods beautifully crafted and plated that we are sure will exceed your guests’ expectations. Options such as buffets, family style dinners and three course plated meals are all available to help you find the perfect meal within your budget. Our cocktail bar offers many kinds of fun and exciting drinks giving you even more room to personalize your event.

Our hotel rates do vary from season to season however the cost of the wedding remains the same. Couples have the option to choose how much they charge their guests to help offset the costs of their events. Our mission is to help you design and create the most unique and personalized event not only for our couples but also for the guests who attend.

What is Included in my Wedding Package

The base rate of your wedding package ($3400) includes:• Wedding Planning and Day of Coordination (no need

to hire a planner, our venue has experienced individuals who look after our events from start to finish). If you would like to use your own professional planner please contact the Villa for the information on how to do so.

• Set-up and tear-down of your event including every detail of your day, from ceremony and table design to cake tables and gift tables.

• In-house glassware, silverware and white plates• In-house sound system• All staff (bartenders, serving staff, on-site manager)

Rental items are based on table design and number of guests (estimated between $500 and $1500)• Table linen, runners, napkins• Charger plates• Specialty cutlery and glassware• Vineyard chairs

Venue fee ranges from $1500-$3000 depending on the time of year, number of days your booking the hotel privately and in some cases guest sizes. Please contact the Villa with your dates and number of guests for a more accurate cost.

Food and alcohol for up to $150 per person.

The cost of the rental of the hotel rooms. We require that the couple commit to the entire rental of the hotel during the high season months of June 1st till October 31st. We do offer single day rentals of the hotel during the summer from Sundays-Thursdays. During the winter (low) season we have other options with or without room rentals.

Generally speaking, the rooms are allocated to guests who are attending the event and the cost of these rooms are then subtracted from the total cost of the event.

What is the cost of the venue?

The venue fees range from $1500- $3000 depending on time of year, size of groups, and holidays. How do we secure our dates?

We require a $2500 deposit that is non-refundable to secure your dates.

What happens if it is raining for my outdoor ceremony?

We can move the ceremony inside at an additional charge of $300. This decision can be made the morning of the event before 10 AM. If you decide to move forward with an outdoor ceremony after this time, then we will proceed, and this cannot be changed. Our staff do need 2-3 hours to flip the room if you decide to get married inside.

Can we go over the max capacity of 70?

Unfortunately, 70 people is the absolute max for the venue space for a sit-down dinner. We can have a higher guest count if the event remains as a cocktail style.

Do you have a minimum spend?

Yes, we have a minimum spend on food and alcohol of $150 per person. This minimum spend applies only to the day of your wedding. All food purchased on the day prior does not apply.

Is there a difference between midweek orweekend rates?

The costs of our wedding and catering packages are the same formidweek and weekend weddings. We do offer different requirements for booking out the hotel privately in the low season vs. the high. Please contact Creekside Villa for more information.

What is included in the accommodation?

12 guest rooms including the bridal suite for two nights. The entire villa will be private on the day of your wedding and the restaurant will be closed to the public.

Can we rent the venue without accommodations?

We require that the couple commit to the entire rental of the hotel during the months of June- end of October for all weekends. We also offer Sunday single day bookings during the high season with no accommodation requirements. do have other packages during the low season months for those who do not wish to commit to the private rental of the hotel.

What happens if we can’t fill the rooms?

We rarely have couples who have difficulty filling the rooms with family, bridal parties etc. however if you do come across this the couple is required to pay for the unused rooms.

Can we bring in our own caterer?

No, all food must be catered by Creekside Villa. You do have theoption to bring in your own cake but all other foods are requiredto be purchased through Creekside Villa.

Can we have a food tasting?

We do not offer food tastings for a specific menu. However, you are more than welcome to make a reservation in our restaurant and try some of our dishes to get an idea of the spectacular quality of our foods.

Do you have a cake cutting fee?

If you require our staff to cut your cake, we apply a $1.50 fee per person. One of our chefs will cut and plate the dessert in the kitchen and our service staff will then serve it to your guests. This covers the cost of offering this kind of service.

Can we bring our own alcohol?

You’re more than welcome to bring your own wine to your wedding for a corkage fee of $25 per bottle. Any wine you bring in must be placed on tables and cannot be served by the glass from the bar. You may also bring your own alcohol to consume in the hotel rooms. All public areas are licensed and therefore personal alcohol cannot be consumed in these areas.

We have a zero-tolerance policy for alcohol consumed in public places that is not purchased through Creekside Villa. If guests are caught consuming alcohol outside of the guest’s rooms, they will be asked to leave the hotel.

What bar options are available?

We can do any style of bar (cash, host, toonie, drink tickets), as long as the alcohol is provided and served by Creekside Villa. If you choose to do a cash bar, we keep track of alcohol consumed on our POS system and that cost is then deducted from your final invoice.

Noise bylaws

We are located in a residential area so noise is not permitted after11 PM. Music can play in the Villa until 2am however outside noise is not aloud.

What time is last call/ Do you cut off overintoxicated guests?

Last call is 1.30am, and all guests must have cleared the venue by 2am. We reserve the right to cut off any guests who we believe to be intoxicated or are treating the staff disrespectfully due to the consumption of alcohol.

Can you give us an estimate on the bar costs?

Unfortunately, this is a very difficult question to answer simply because we do not know how much and what kind of drinks your guests will consume. Please check our website to see our current drinklists. Please keep in mind prices are subject to change.

Can I bring in my own décor?

We want your wedding day to be exactly how you imagined it. You are more than welcome to bring in some of your own décor, but we do recommend you let us know before you purchase your items to be sure that they fit with the tables sizes and set up of the room. We can also assist you in sourcing rentals that can be used as center pieces to help you keep your costs down.

Do you supply Centerpieces?

Our wedding planner is a talented florist, so we are happy to work with couples to help source items/flowers for centerpieces at additional costs. We also have some things here at the hotel available for rent that you can use to build your own centerpieces such as wood slabs, lanterns, mercury candles, pillar candles and more. Please contact us for pricing.

Can we use wish lanterns?

Unfortunately, the use of wish lanterns is against Alberta Law and therefore, we cannot allow them.

Can we use drones?

Most areas of Canmore do not allow the use of drones. Please check the Canmore Bylaw page for more information on areas that drones can be used.

Can we have a rehearsal ceremony?

Yes, your outdoor ceremony rehearsal can be held between 3pm and 6pm the day before your wedding at no extra cost. The weddingcoordinator will be present to assist with the rehearsal.

Can we have a rehearsal dinner?

Yes, the minimum spends of a private rehearsal dinner in usrestaurant is $3500 plus gratuities. Menus must be confirmeda week before the date.

How much time will we have to set up our décor?

You or your guests will not have to do a single thing during your wedding day. Creekside staff will take care of setting up and tearing down all the décor.

Do you have a preferred vendors list?

We recommend local photographers, hair and make-up artists, commissioners, florists and cake artists. However, you are welcome to bring in your personally chosen vendors as well. If you do decide to book Creekside Villa for your special day your wedding planner will forward our list of preferred vendors to you.

Can you recommend other hotels for our guests to stay?

Check availability with our neighbors at A Bear and Bison Inn. The Holiday Inn is also located on our side of the highway.
