The following slides describe the procedures for manual operation of the 190VMCxi
Enter the procedures logically and clearly into Project 1 (Lab 1) of your Project Management Binder (PMB)
– Logical Sections would be: Component and Controls Identification Machine Control Procedures Manufacturing Procedures
– Later, when you are assigned Team Members Make sure everyone in your team has the same information Unconditionally, share information (you are a team)
Manual Operation – Home Position
Turn 190VMCxi power on Gently push E-stop Gently turn E-stop to the right and release Push the blue Cycle Reset button
– Under E-stop Wait until manual/auto control illuminates
– 10 to 20 seconds Press the blue Home button (2 parallel slashes)
– Located in top right corner of control panel– Machine tables relocate themselves to the home position– Z-axis up and X and Y tables to the front left corner
Manual Machine Operations
After Homing the controls Open the Boxford Application software
– Select the 190VMCxi– Under <View> menu, Select <Feedback>
This allows seeing a time delayed feedback of X, Y, and Z axis speed and positions– Also, the spindle speed is displayed
