Be bold. Be different. BPP.

Selina SinghBSc (Hons) Business Management student

These people will always exist. You just won’t find any of them at BPP University.

Our students are focused and confident. They know what they want from life, and are determined to get it. They see our programmes, and the way we deliver them, as a great way to progress into their chosen career.

It’s because, in essence, we’ve reinvented the university experience. From how you study, to how our tutors teach.

At BPP University we provide tomorrow’s way of learning, today. We’re there for students who want to break away from the ‘norm’ and get a head-start on their career. (Not to mention their rivals when it comes to that all-important job interview).

So, get ready to face the future. Change is good, it’s exciting. The next stage of your career starts here.

People once didn’t want to sail too far because they thought the Earth was flat. They believed that riding horseback was as fast as you could travel. They used to say that humans weren’t meant to fly through the air.

Tutors with real-life industry experienceOur tutors aren’t just professional lecturers. They’re also professionals of the subjects they teach. Respected across the industry for their accomplishments and achievements, they’re exactly the sort of person you’ll want in your corner. Their experience resonates, their insights invigorate. They’ll pass on real-world knowledge of the types of companies you’d like to work at, and business connections that are second-to-none.

A career that starts hereA career is what you come to university for, so at BPP University we make it priority number one. That means courses designed in conjunction with law firms, businesses and employers, one-to-one consultations, careers events and CV preparation. It means you’ll get all the help you need with job searches, application forms and mock interviews. Basically, we’ll guide you from the moment you accept your place, to a full year after you achieve your degree.

Office spaces with modern facilitiesOur students learn in professional workspaces with modern facilities and the latest technology at hand. Think interactive whiteboards, live webcast lectures and archived lectures available 24/7 online (see more details in relevant programmes). When you learn in small groups, and in environments that are more business-focused, it helps make our graduates better adjusted to work.

Programmes designed to be flexibleAs well as the standard three year degree, we also provide flexible programmes such as accelerated degrees over two-years to reduce the time and money you need to invest and get out into the workplace sooner. We build flexibility into our learning programmes from the beginning, to help you develop the skills so valued by employers and flexible timetables to allow you to build your studies around other demands on your time.

Learn with students who want to achieveDetermined, focused and assured, BPP University students use our courses and programmes as the first step on to their career path. They accept the journey will be hard-going at times, but with a little help, and a little guidance, they know what they can ultimately achieve. Our employability rates back it up. In 2012, 96%* of our graduates were in full-time work or further study within six months of leaving us.

With city centre bases, we mean businessLondon, Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Bristol and Abingdon (Oxfordshire). BPP University is in six great locations across the country. Not just because of their geographical spread, so you can pick the one most convenient to you, but also because we’re based in the heart of business and legal districts. When you study with us, you’re already half way to working as a professional.

Our points of difference create a learning process that you won’t find anywhere else.

Everything you need to graduate with purpose.

One of the strongest legal markets outside London, Bristol is home to many South West and national firms and prides itself on delivering high quality work in a vibrant legal and business community.

With much of the city’s economy built on the electronics and aerospace industries, Bristol is also increasingly being viewed as part of the UK’s dynamic ‘media triangle’ alongside London and Manchester.

The city centre docks - recently redeveloped as a hotspot for dining and entertainment - provide the city’s workers with a selection of ways to unwind. Bristol also boasts great shopping, includingHarvey Nichols, as part of the Cabot Circus shopping and restaurant area.

When it comes to business, Yorkshire is out in front. With a number of large national head offices including ASDA, Morrisons, Capita and Aviva. Leeds is the largest legal centre in the UK outside London and its financial and insurance services industry is one of the largest in the country with over 30 national and international banks.

As you walk around this impressive Yorkshire city, you can’t help but admire its Victorian buildings which have been lovingly brought back to life. This is a city that effortlessly mixes the old with the new. Alongside its Victorian architecture you’ll find stunning new developments like the recently opened Trinity Leeds shopping and leisure centre, and its music and entertainment arena which seats 13,500.

And just as much a draw to Leeds are its excellent bars, restaurants and clubs. It’s safe to say that there’s something to suit everyone, including the large student population that live here.
