• Tie (worn by Senior Students Years 10-12)
• Navy pullover with school emblem
• Zipped jacket with school emblem
• Short visible white socks with no branding
• Navy or flesh stockings

• Black formal school shoes
OPTION 1 FORMAL UNIFORM
• Formal shirt with school emblem
• Formal navy shorts (not sports shorts)
• If wearing shorts, pair with short white socks
• Formal navy trousers with black socks

• Formal and Sports Uniform requires short white socks with no branding
• Formal Uniform shoes must be leather, lace-up style and able to be polished
• Formal Uniform can wear black leather dress shoes with BRSHS navy trousers
• Black leather dress shoes can be worn with BRSHS navy trousers
• Formal Uniform cannot include canvas or sports shoes
• Sports Uniform cannot include coloured sports shoes

Good question! Follow these easy guidelines and you’ll be well on your way.
FORMAL UNIFORM:
• Formal black shoes are worn with formal uniform
• Formal shoes are to be regularly polished
• Formal shoes need to be made of leather or vinyl and have laces and a tongue
• Formal socks are white ankle length with no branding
• Students wearing full-length trousers can wear black socks
SPORTS UNIFORM:
• Black or white sports shoes are worn with sports uniform
• Sports shoes need to: – be fully black or white, without colours – be made of leather or vinyl, not canvas or felt – have laces and a tongue – offer ankle and top of the foot protection – have a thick sole.
• Sports socks need to be: – short white socks with no branding – long enough to be seen above the shoe.
HOW DO I KNOW I HAVE THE RIGHT SHOES AND SOCKS?
For occupational health and safety reasons, students can’t wear:
• canvas or felt shoes
• shoes with thin soles
• shoes without laces.
The same goes for socks. Students need to wear socks that:
• are plain white
• have no branding or colours
• are visable above the ankle.
WHAT SHOES AND SOCKS CAN’T I WEAR?
• No make-up or nail polish permitted
• Hair must be clean, neat and conservatively styled with natural hair colouring
• Hair that is shoulder length or longer must be tied back when required
• Hair ties are to be in school colours
• If a hijab is worn, it must be in school colours
• If a turban is worn, it must be in school colours
• Permitted jewellery includes: – a wrist watch (no connectivity ie: Wi Fi, Bluetooth, etc) – up to two small studs or sleepers per ear – one discreet/plain ring per hand
• No bracelets, necklaces, or ankelets. Medical jewellery excepted
• No visible facial/body piercings
• No visible tattoos

WHAT’S EXPECTED OF STUDENTS’?• All students are required to own a complete formal uniform
and a complete sports uniform.
• Junior students are required to wear their formal uniform every Monday. Sports Days excepted.
• Senior Students are required to wear formal uniform every day.
• Junior Students can choose to wear either their formal uniform, or their sports uniform Tuesday to Friday.
WHEN IS THIS EXPECTED?All students abide by our school uniform guidelines when:
• attending or representing the school
• travelling to and from the school
• engaging in school activities out of hours
