Cambridge at Bradley
● Bradley Middle School is embracing a whole school model for Cambridge.
Teachers plan together and are provided professional development so strategies
are embedded into all classroom settings.
● We still have students that are on the Cambridge Diploma path.
○ Students currently in Cambridge at an Elementary Feeder School will
automatically be placed in a Cambridge class.
○ The deadline has passed for new students to apply for next year. Letters will
hopefully be mailed by the end of this week for notification.

Coordinator.
Standard and Honors Classes
Students in Bradley’s Standard and Honors classes can expect to to learn and grow in a
academically challenging environment.
● Teachers enter assignments and scores into Power School where students and
parents can monitor and stay on top of their progress and growth.
● Classrooms utilize IXL to determine student’s strengths and weaknesses and to
remediate and challenge students.
● Math and Literacy classes are every day, Science and Social Students are on a A/B
day rotation.
● Each grade level is separated into 2 teams of teachers that focus on a smaller group
of the student population.
● 100% of classrooms are taught by Certified Teachers.
● Every student at Bradley benefits from the Cambridge Program that is modeled
throughout the entire school.

Students from 6th, 7th and 8th grades work together to broadcast the Morning News
sharing school wide stories.
Technology includes a green screen, tricaster, teleprompter, microphones and studio
lighting.
A typical broadcast includes:

students and teachers
● Maverick Minds - a question of the week posed
to student body to submit open ended written
responses.

Chorus SEMESTER LONG COMMITMENT
● Students learn beginning singing techniques within an
ensemble setting.
● Singing experiences will be provided for all students
with special instruction for those with changing voices.
● In addition to music skills, students will demonstrate
skills of cooperation, and learn to compromise and be
team players.
● Students in this class will also participate in a
performance at the end of the semester.
Dance SEMESTER LONG COMMITMENT
● This course builds on individual skills with an emphasis
on students’ personal expression in relationship to the
world around them.
● Students improve their dance technique, use dance to
communicate, manipulate the elements of dance, and
develop more complex choreographic forms.
● Students in this class will also participate in a
performance at the end of the semester.
Art SEMESTER LONG COMMITMENT
● This course encourages student creativity and expressing themselves through art.
● Printmaking, Radial Name Design, Surrealism, Pop Art, Clay, and much more!
● Learn about famous artists through time, Renaissance and Asian cultures.
● Students develop their artist’s voice, writing artist statements and critiques
Drama/Theatre SEMESTER LONG COMMITMENT
Theatre at Bradley promotes and creates a sense of community between classmates.
Students learn hands on how to understand and make artistic choices, celebrating
creativity. Drama class encourages students to confidently express themselves and
develop their “personal voice.”
