I  know  how  to  brainstorm.  Like,  duh.    Are  you  seriously  doing  a    presenta:on  on  brainstorming?    This  BS  presenta:on  is  going  to  be  total  BS.

Tips for a Productive Brainstorm

2 Create  a  judgment  free  zone.    

3 Throw  some  crazy  ideas  out  there.  

4 Build  on  other  ideas.  

5 Go  for  quan:ty.  

6 Feel  free  to  sketch  

7 Role  play.    For  example,  How  would  Dave  McClure  address  the  problem?

8 Brainstorm  ways  you  could  totally  screw  it  up.    Take  the  nega:ves,  Reverse  to  create  posi:ves.  

9 Create  a  shared  inspira:on  folder/document  for    your  team  to  kick  off  sessions.  

10 Add  a  new  personality  to  your  product  or  a  flow  you  are  struggling  with.  

11 Make  it  into  a  game.  Fact:  Everyone  is  more  crea:ve  with  pipe-­‐cleaner  glasses  on.
