WINE LIST
Welcome,
In our opinion the Wine List is an extension of the food menu, we believe a good wine can enhance a meal or have an adverse effect if chosen incorrectly.
This list is compiled from exhaustive tastings following our passion for the right wines at the right price. We at Branston Hall commend our choice to you.
We have chosen the latest grape varietals along with the established, and have se-lected new growers along with the old favourites to bring you flavours from around the globe.
Our aim is to complement your dining experience, therefore if we can be of any help in your selection we will be happy to assist.

WE USE THE VINOSERV SYSTEM TO PROVIDE YOU WITH A HIGHER QUALITY WINE BY THE GLASS.
Argon gas is very heavy and stays on top of the wine and protects the remaining wine from oxidation after opening. Argon is an inert gas that is regularly used during the wine making process, it does not react with wine and has no effect on the taste profile of wine.www.vinoserv.co.uk

Known as ‘Bourgogne’ in France, Burgundy has a long history in winemaking. Each sub-region of Burgundy
is so different from each other that it is hard to address the region as a whole. Domaine Bitouzet Meursault
typically has a clear oak influence, which have led to descriptions such as “buttery” being applied to powerful
examples of Meursault wines.

Loire wines tend to exhibit characteristic fruitiness with fresh, crisp flavours-especially in their youth. The Loire
Valley has a long history of winemaking dating back to the 1st century. In the High Middle Ages, the wines
of the Loire Valley were the most esteemed wines in England and France, even more prized than those from
Bordeaux.
