FACILITIESThe Cali School of Music makes its home in the 1928 Spanish Mission Style building at the main entrance to the campus. It was renovated and expanded in 2009 to include large rehearsal spaces and the 225-seat Jed Leshowitz Recital Hall. It accommodates nearly 500 students in its classrooms, rehearsal studios and practice rooms. Chapin Hall is named in honor of the John J. Cali family whose generous $5 million gift provides scholarships and faculty support.

Choosing from majors in performance, jazz studies, composition, music education, and music therapy, you’ll study with world-class musicians dedicated to your artistic and personal growth. You’ll mix rigorous course work with focused private lessons and challenging repertory and rigorous coursework. And because the School presents more than 300 performances each year, you’ll play or sing plenty of concerts–and not just on campus. Our students perform in prestigious venues like Carnegie Hall, often sharing the stage with professional ensembles like the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra. What’s more, international tours have taken them from Austria to Australia. A world of opportunity is waiting for you in the School of Music.
