BRE Students Winning HKIS Outstanding Final Year Dissertation Awards for Undergraduate Students (2016) In the Outstanding Final Year Dissertation Awards for Undergraduate Students (2016) organized by the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (HKIS), three alumni of the Department of Building and Real Estate (BRE) of PolyU were rewarded for their final year dissertations announced on 30 December 2016. A total of 2 full-time students and 1 part-time student from the BSc(Hons) in Surveying programme won the awards including 1 Top Award and 2 Second Awards. Each winner received an award certificate and a prize cheque of HK$1,500 (Top Award) and HK$1,000 (Second Award) at the HKIS Outstanding Dissertation/Thesis Awards Presentation Ceremony and Cocktail Reception 2016 held on Friday, 9 June 2017 at the Royal Plaza Hotel, Mongkok, Kowloon, Hong Kong.
