In 1952 Mr. and Mrs. Earl D. Hurst purchased a farm located along Oregon Pike in Manheim Township. “Mom” and “Pop” Hurst dreamed of serving their neighbors and friends with fresh products from their farm.In 1974 they built and operated a small dairy store where they sold fresh milk, eggs and produce. The Hurst Family business was so popular and success-ful they decided to build a new store, which was completed in 1979.Since then, Oregon Dairy has under-gone many changes: •In 1986 a cafeteria was added • In 1988 the retail sales area of the

store was enlarged

• In 1993 the cafeteria was renovated into a family restaurant
