• 1 Akulah pokok anggur yang benar dan BapaKulah pengusahanya.

• 2. Setiap ranting padaKu yang tidak berbuah, dipotongNya (takes away)

• Dan setiap ranting yang berbuah, di bersihkanNya supaya ia lebih banyak berbuah (more fruit)

• 4. Tinggalah didalam Aku dan Aku didalam kamu. Sama seperti ranting tidak dapat berbuah pada dirinya sendiri, kalau ia tidak tinggal pada pokok anggur, demikian juga kamu tidak berbuah, jikalau kamu tidak tinggal didalam Aku.

• 5. Akulah pokok anggur dan kamulah ranting rantingnya. Barangsiapa tinggal didalam Aku dan Aku didalam dia, ia berbuah banyak, sebab di luar Aku kamu tidak dapat berbuat apa apa.

The vineyard

1. Fruit • Beranak banyak

– Gen 1:28 God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number

• Hasil pekerjaan

• Memenangkan jiwa jiwa– Matthew 3:10The ax is already at the root of the trees, and every tree that

does not produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire.

• Fruit of the spirit– Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering,

kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

• Blessing– Psa 1:1 Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the

ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; 2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night.

– 3 He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper.

2. The barren branch (cabang yang tidak berbuah)

•John 15:2 “Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away.(Setiap ranting padaKu yang tidak berbuah, dipotongNya…..)

‘kemandulan’ menjadi ‘berbuah’ ?

3. Prinsip no 1Kalau hidup kita tidak

Tuhan akan campur tangan dan akan mendisiplin kita

untuk supaya kita bisa berbuah

4. Perlunya Disiplin• 12:5 "My son, do not despise the chastening of the LORD,

Nor be discouraged when you are rebuked by Him; For whom the LORD loves He chastens, And scourges every son whom He receives."

• Prinsip dari ayat ini:– Tuhan adalah sumber dari disiplin– Tuhan mendisplin setiap orang yang percaya– Tuhan melakukan semua ini karena kasih

• The good hurts– “…bahwa Tuhan, Allahmu, mengajari engkau seperti

seseorang mengajari anaknya” Deut 8:5.• Kenapa Tuhan perlu mendisplin kita ?

– Ibrani 12:11 Memang tiap tiap ganjaran pada waktu ia diberikan tidak mendatangkan sukacita, tetapi dukacita. Tetapi kemudia ia menghasilkan buah kebenaran yang memberikan damai kepada mereka yang dilatih olehNya.”

5. Tiga Level Disiplin:

1. Rebuke (teguran/peringatan) • “My Son do not…be discouraged when you are

rebuked by Him” Heb 12:5

2. Chasten (hajar) • For whom the Lord loves He chastens” Heb 12:5

3. Scourge (menyesah)• “And scourge every son whom He receives” Heb

12:6

6. PANDANGAN YANG SALAH• some Christians cant’ clean up their acts because of this

misguided concept:– Kalau Tuhan mendisplin ku, ini hanyalah untuk satu kali saja. Tuhan itukan maha

penyayang dan pemaaf dan tidak mungkin Tuhan memberikan hukuman yang makin berat atau dengan sengaja membuat saya sakit hanya supaya saya tidak berbuat dosa lagi.

– Jujur sajalah. Kesenangan daging yang saya dapat dari apa yang disebut dosa ini jauh melebihi dari keuntungan rohani yang saya dapat kalau saya berhenti berdosa. Dan dosa saya inikan tidak membuat orang lain di rugikan.

– Saya ini tidak berdaya. Masalah saya ini berasal dari masa kecil saya. Dan pastinya Tuhan akan memberikan belas kasihannya.

– Hanya karena saya berdosa bukan berarti saya tidak bisa melakukan sesuatu untuk Tuhan. Tuhan itu memakai tongkat yang bengkok. Kita inikan tidak bisa seperti Billy Graham.

– Ini bukan dosa. Hanya kelemahan, bagian dari kelemahanku, yang saya masih bergumul.

7. How to overcome SIN• PRAY:

– Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation, the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. Matthew 26:41

• RUN AWAY:– Flee from sexual immorality . … I cor 6:18

• Focus on something else

• Surround yourself with Godly people and stay away from undesired places

• FILL UP YOUR MIND WITH GOD’S WORD:– Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed

by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. Romans 12:2

• Joshua 3:5 And Joshua said to the people, "Sanctify yourselves, for tomorrow the LORD will do wonders among you.“

• II Chronicle 7:14 "if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
