BRICKBrick :It is a block , or a single unit of a ceramic

material used in masonry construction. while it is still in plastic condition , dried in the sun and burnt, these processes will make it more strong, hard and durable.

CATEGORIES OF BRICKS

On the basis of the moulding and quality of burning the bricks are classified into different four categories

1. First class brick2. Second class brick 3. Third class brick4. kangar

First class brick Well sound Uniform and smooth face , sharp edge Yellow colour Used in flooring and reinforced work

Second class bricks Red colour Not uniform and irregular shape Less sound as compare to first class

Third class bricks Irregular shape Reddish colour Produced less sound Not used for construction purpose

FORMATION PROCESS OF BRICKSThere are some steps for the preparation of

bricks Digging of soil

FORMATION PROCESS OF BRICKS BlendingThe dig soil is then broken and mixed with

reasonable amount of water if needed and it is then left for 36 hours, till it is just soft enough for moulding.

FORMATION PROCESS OF BRICKS Moulding:After 36 hours the blended soil is

ready for moulding.

in sun for drying purpose.

bricks are transported to kiln for heating purpose.
