BRIEF SYSTEM DESCRIPTION

AIDACS·3000 MICRO·COMPUTER SYSTEM FDPS·10 AND FDPS·20 SERIES

1. Series and Models AI DACS-3000 micro-co mputer systems consists of an

FDPS-10 Series and an FDPS-20 Series. Th e user ca n

specify an LSI CP U employing 8080A, 8085 or Z80 for

any model. FDPS-l0 Series models are furnis hed with

operator co nsole, no console is furn ished with FDSP-20

Ser ies models.

In ge neral, FDPS-l0 Ser ies is suitab le for use as a pro­

gram development tool. FDPS-20 Series is an idea l

basic micro-computer for al most all app! ica ti ons, such as

programm in g, com putation, data acq ui sition and small

business systems. Each Seri es has two standa rd models:

FDPS-12, 14 and FUPS-22 and 24. Th e final digit of

each model Ilumber indicates number of floppy disk

driv es in each syste m.

4. Input/ Output Devices The above FOPS systems are main frames, Users must

prepare suitable I/O periph eral devices in accordance

with system configuration and applicati on s,

As the most ty pical and basic I/O device, a CRT key­

board display is recommend ed. A high-sp eed printer

would be next.

In order to use periph eral devices with th ese FOPS

system mai n frames, it is necessary to make an interface

module card, also to apply I/O driver routines in

OOSK ET (system generation).

Syste m generation can be don e by user. Howeve r, if

user configuration is reported to us, we can prepare

prior to shipment.

If req uired, we can set up a complete system, including

main frame with va rious I/O devices. In some cases,

however, it may be possible to set up a system at lower

cost by purchasing some of the peripheral dev ices in

user's own country.

card, tracer card driver box by software, and manual .
