INVENTORY OWNERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT We know it isn’t always easy to keep device availability up, while keeping operating costs down. We’re here to help.

Brightstar uses state-of-the-art processes and programs to forecast demand, balance it with supply, and automatically replenish inventory—reducing working capital requirements, improving operating expense efficiency, and enabling the sales efforts of our clients.

Because of our corporate scale and diversification, we’re even able to share the market, financial, and competitive risks associated with inventory ownership—offering flexible solutions including consignment, vendor-managed inventory, and a patent-pending Virtual Inventory Program that gives your customers practically unlimited access to the best devices.

VIRTUAL INVENTORY PROGRAM The last thing you want to tell a customer is “No.” We make it easy to say “Yes.”

Stocking inventory is a costly endeavor, and it can tie up funds that you need to have working in other areas of your business. Brightstar’s Virtual Inventory Program gives you access to our supply of devices—reducing your inventory requirements, while expanding your product portfolio.

Brightstar’s Marketplace web architecture is designed to integrate seamlessly with yours and your customers’—providing up-to-date access to your customized catalog, inventory availability, and tools that allow your enterprise sales team to reserve devices using Brightstar’s proprietary Serial-On-Demand fulfillment technology.

The moment an order is placed, our system assigns each device in Brightstar’s “virtual” inventory a unique serial number—required to complete a postpaid activation with telephone number. Our state of the art Robotic Pick System then finds the corresponding device in our warehouse, and prepares it for delivery based on your specifications.

FORWARD LOGISTICS AND FULFILLMENT You have enterprise-sized clients, with individualized needs. We never lose sight of the details.

At Brightstar, we realize that quality is just as — if not more — important as quantity. So we give every device the VIP treatment, ensuring that every little detail is attended to and your customers are delighted.

You’ve made an investment, in your customers and their devices. Brightstar makes it easy for your customers to repair, return, trade-in, or upgrade their devices—ensuring that they always have the best experience with your brand.

• We offer a wide range of quality test and repair management processes—reducing the complexity and increasing the efficiency of returns, defective products or parts management.

• We refresh device technology–properly disposing of legacy devices while maintaining data assurance and environmentally conscious processes. • We collect, refurbish, and resell handsets—providing end-users with a seamless experience, while reducing churn and increasing profitability.• We manage trade-in and buy-back devices as well—enabling you to up sell new devices and services to existing customers.

DEVICE INSURANCE AND EXTENDED WARRANTY Enterprise customers want assurance, so they can manage their assets and their bottom line. We have solutions.

Your customers want the comfort of knowing that if something goes wrong, they’ve got a back-up plan in place. Brightstar’s device protection programs, offered in partnership with eSecuritel, are designed to replace lost, stolen, damaged, or malfunctioning mobile devices quickly and with the same software as the original. Our call center will handle all the details—getting your customer what they need to handle their enterprise operations without unnecessary downtime.

• WARRANTY AND EXTENDED WARRANTY Immediately upon determining that a device is eligible for replacement by the OEM, our call center leaps into action, initiating a Rapid Warranty Replacement. A device is pulled from Brightstar’s inventory, customized and shipped to the user straightaway—eliminating the typical 2 week wait for a replacement direct from the OEM. A return pouch is included for the damaged device. Once received, Brightstar takes on the heavy lifting of managing the logistics and working with the OEM, so your customers don’t have to.

• INSURANCE SOLUTIONS Accidents happen. Brightstar and eSecuritel offer a range of insurance programs supported by an A-rated insurance underwriter—to help your customers plan for the unexpected.
