Brigit’s Bakery an overview

2010In 2010, Brigit, Philippe and Cedric Bloch founded Brigit’s Bakery, opening their first French Salon de Thé next to the London Eye in County Hall, London. They served exquisite French patisseries which quickly became popular with both locals and tourists.

The unique French twist sets Brigit’s Bakery apart from the crowd. Brigit Bloch and family originate from Paris and in order to replicate the exquisite tastes and essence of France, they employ French patisserie chefs and oversee the menu selection personally. All the food is handmade daily on their premises in London.

2012 2017In 2012, the Bloch family opened a second

bakery on Chandos Place in Covent Garden.

With 180 sq m over two floors, including three private dining rooms, it was the perfect spot to

provide tourists, shoppers, residents and local workers with a relaxing sanctuary

to enjoy fine French patisseries.

In the summer of 2017, Brigit’s Bakery opened a beautiful new bakery in Bath on Pulteney Bridge.

With a stunning terrace overlooking the River Avon, it’s the perfect place for a relaxing lunch or

afternoon tea. The bakery is also available for private hire in for special events and celebrations.

2014 2019In 2014, Brigit’s Afternoon Tea Ltd was born; with the purchase of a classic Routemaster, the family struck upon the brilliant idea of serving their fabulous afternoon tea with a French twist, whilst enjoying the sights and landmarks of Central London.

Brigit’s Bakery Cook was established in 2014; the 300 sq m premises under the arches in Bermondsey would become the main production facility for the business with the office above. All patisseries and food are handmade daily in Bermondsey for both the Bus Tours and Bakery.

2015With the Afternoon Tea Bus Tours going from strength-to-strength, the team focused on the growing demand, purchasing additional buses and providing new daily routes around Central London.

Brigit’s Bakery also extended their L’Afternoon Tea experiences with Boat Tours along the Thames, Picnic and Delivery services.

Brigit is launching the one-of-kind, Chef’s Bus. A classic Routemaster bus with a fully-equipped kitchen on the lower level and dining experience on the top deck. A variety of different cuisines from world-renowned chefs will be offered, creating London’s Culinary Journey.

Brigit’s Menu is constantly evolving to meet the needs and desires of our loyal clientele. Partnering with other popular brands, we introduced the extremely popular Gin Lovers Afternoon Tea. We also provide a variety of themed afternoon teas and cater for most dietary requirements, including; vegan, halal and gluten-free.
