Jaipur National University, Jaipur, a Private self- financed University, sponsored by Mahima Shiksha Samiti, came into existence on October 22, 2007, through an Ordinance of the Government of Rajasthan. The University is one of the many institutions of the Seedling Group of educational institutions of the Mahima Shiksha Samiti.

The University received mandatory approvals and recognitions for its programmes from the National Regulatory Bodies, namely, UGC, AICTE, PCI, NCTE, BCI and Nursing Council of India. The School of Distance Education and Learning of the University has also been recognised and approved by the Joint Committee of the UGC-AICTE-DEC.

ObjectiveTo impart basic knowledge and understanding of the basic principles of science.

To prepare students for undertaking higher education and research as a career.

To prepare students for various employments available in industries.

Eligibility:Senior Secondary (10+2) pass with science subjects or equivalent from any recognized Board or B.Sc. preparatory pass from VMOU Kota (Rajasthan).

The Foundation Courses are Compulsory for all the students in first year of the study and the marks obtained in these papers are not added for counting the division in the B.Sc examination.
