Plan of Action

In the trite world of American accents, there must be one day that stands out from all others. On this particular day, citizens should, no must do something that breaks up the monotony of everyday life.

We propose a new American tradition – British Accent Wednesdays – a day of celebration, joy, and general doddleness. On this day, Americans will be allowed to employ British accents and slang as they see fit without fear of repercussions. This privilege will be limited to Wednesday, although citizens may use the previously unmentioned six days in order to practice for British Accent Wednesdays.

Wednesday, of course, comes after Tuesday but before Thursday. This makes it the ideal time for British Accent Wednesdays.
